Inguk straightened his suit jacket and adjusted his tie before glancing at his watch to check the time. His first day at the asylum and the place seemed eerily quiet. He could picture even a sane person going crazy from the confinement by these white white walls.It was unlike any place he had ever been before. In the hotels he had worked for at least there was something always going on, the atmosphere had never felt so heavy.
He walked towards the cctv room, hearing his footsteps echoing down the empty hallway. Inguk stook in front of the door for a moment, looking at the worn sign before taking out the key from his pocket and pressing it into the lock, hearing it click. The technology in the asylum was a bit old fashioned for his liking, but it would have to do. He sat down on the swivel chair and rest his elbow on the desk while he glanced over the screens and tried to familiarize himself with the building's layout. There was a camera installed in every hallway and in every room to monitor the patients.If possible he would like to check the blindspots of the cameras, but he was a one man team.
Inguk tried to hold back a yawn and stood up, locking the door behind him and going to the staff room, finding the mini kitchen and making himself a cup of coffee.
