My son finally lives! I changed his name from Aries to Evander because the name Aries was just way too on-the-nose for a ram. It felt bland as hell lmao.

Evander is stubborn, fiery, opinionated, and somewhat abrasive (polite way of saying he's kind of an asshole), but he'll always make sure things get done properly. And he's ride or die. So if you have his loyalty, you're pretty much stuck with him and his attitude for life.

Evander has a strong affinity for healing and protection magic, even at his age. His fleece is made of an almost leathery material, lined with wool on the inside, and has a protective material between those two layers that's a bit similar to Kevlar in its durability.

He occasionally accompanies Thana when she goes out searching for new recruits. If they're injured badly enough, he has syringes that contain stimulants so they can get on their feet quickly. If Thana chooses to keep going, Evander will guide the injured recruit back home.

He and Narinder have a bit of a strained relationship because their personalities are quite similar, and it can lead to some tension. Of course they love each other, but sometimes, they just can't stand each other.

Evander and Azrael have an interesting dynamic. Only Azrael is allowed to call him "Ev." And the same with "Rae." It's just something unique to them, and if anyone else does it, it just feels weird.

Bella refuses to dock her lambs' tails when they're babies. Hers was docked as a baby, and she refuses to continue the cycle. If they decide that they want to have their tails docked later in life, she'll accept that because they made that decision for themselves. But she can't stand the idea of taking that decision from them.
