oh, hey.

So this weekend past I travelled to Sydney to see my hero speak live at a vivid event. My hero is film maker, director screenwriter genius Spike Jonze. A few years ago I was contemplating suicide. I almost achieved it. However, as a lover of films, I watched a few before "the day" one of the films was Her -written and directed by Spike. That film saved me from ending my life and gave me a second chance at living. I have never related to a character more in my life and seeing Theodore grow gave me hope. For 3 years I had wanted to say a big thank you to him but he doesn't have social media. So after the talk last night I waited in the pouring rain with a few other fans. He came out to greet us and I got my chance to talk to him. I told him everything. He held my hand and hugged me. I handed him a letter which he accepted. I have NEVER been happier. I want to bottle up this happiness and wear it as perfume. I'm still in shock.
