Canon!Connor: Has the wherewithal to buy Hank a drink to be friendly and get in his good graces. Studies Hank to make small talk because he knows–like Kara– talking about interests helps people bond. Early on, picks up that Hank don’t like him or androids for SOME reason, even if he doesn’t know the details. Picks up on Hank having personal issues that makes him grumpy and bitter as fuck. If you pick “Partners” at the Chicken Feed, will bump Hank playfully with his elbow. Knows that, when he saves Hank, Hank expresses gratitude even though he no words good. Sees a loaded gun and immediately jumps to, “Hank has suicidal tendencies?” even if you don’t ask about it. If you ask about it on the bridge, Connor clearly understands Hank and appears sympathetic. Basically: Really fucking good at psychology and people-ing.
