A local town puts out a contract for a skilled mercenary, a paladin or a witcher of acceptable skill. A haunting has plagued their shops and homes. They find ice in their pantries and frost in their gardens, even on the warmest summer days. The locals speak of glimmering lights at night, moving between the homes. They've begun leaving offerings for the vengeful spirit, but a professional hunter of the paranormal might work just as well.
Always one to seek the unkown this was something he found eather interesting. Ice that took unusually long to melt in summer and glimmering lights that danced from house to house. He had already thought of theories and letting typical hunters and the like deal with it worried that they might harm whatever it was. Finding an abandoned house and setting up a few things to make it look lived in he waited for night leaving a low light in the window to make it seem even more inviting. On a table in the middle of the front room he left a plate of sweets amd other delicous treats as his 'offering'. However the bottom of the plate hid runes that would allow anything of magical attunement in but what ever entered could not leave. Stepping into another room he let it sit through the night waiting for something to happen.
It was very late into the night before anything happened. Perhaps three hours after sunset, a timid light reflected on the window glass. It happened by several times within just a short span. Finally, it stopped on the window opening. A faint tingling, buzzing sound filled the air as it entered the house and quickly zipped around the room. It shone like a clear winter moon, shedding snowflakes and frost everywhere it went until finally it settled on the table and moved near the plate.
The tiny fairy glimmered no less brightly as she examined the sweet confections on the plate. Stepping daintily, she walked a circle around the sweets, then tasted them carefully. She made a chiming, appreciative sound as she took a few bites.
There was a slow but noticeable shift in the air, the tempature felt like it was dropping. Peaking his head out of the room while moving slowly as to not disturb whatever had happened his eyes noticed the glimmer on the table. Watching closely as he noticed the tiny creature eating the snacks, unsure if she had moved far enough onto the plate to make the spell work he moved from the room quietly and gently as to not distrub her.

"There you go.", Ferenir placed the bracers in front of the man.
"You can choose your own gloves to wear them with, but this should make it easy to. They are runic, naturally, and made of quicksilver, which should allow easy mana flow through them. It will not hinder your spellcasting.", the blacksmith gave the other a knowing smile.
Some things didn't need to be said, he had smelled the mana on him, and his apprehension about metal must have been because he was a mage with that kind of limitation. He decided to throw in an extra, as such.

Luckily he had seen worse and dealt with worse, so her current apearance, while shocking wasnt something that shook him like it would most. "It is no bother to me I can comback if you perfer? As for knowledge of divinity I have plaenty. How to slay or possibly strip someone of minor diety powers or if multiple casters are strong enough... could possibly strip someone of their divinity. However your divinty feels much stronger than what I could deal with, but perhaps an answer can be found in a tome if I may be of some help? Id need to know more about how this happened if you will tell me." The mage studdied her scratching his chin as he approached a bit closer as a book from his pack floated out and opened infront of him to a page. This was certainly an interesting situation he would like to help solve.
"N-no actually no need to slay anyone." She was less concerned about her own skin (scales?) and more about Oba, even if it was the only way she'd rather not kill Chiasa to return to normal. At the query of how exactly things went down she could only sigh.
"Unfortunately there's not much I can help with in that area. All we know is that a Kami's friend power, which got passed from her forcibly onto me. The theory from some friends right now is that because I had one of her marks and because I had the least magical power of all of them, it flowed into me...path of least resistence and such."

This was a very strange case but he did like a puzzle, who knew how divine power chooses where it goes or what it does. "Kamis are a much more unkonw by me... most gods or demis have some sort of weakness but Kamis I feel dont have such harsher downsides.. at least none ive met. Perhaps her power chose you but you could not contain it all? Thus it flowed to your friends? Ive heard stories of some giving up their divine powers, perhaps theres a way for you to pass it back or such?"

For every note he recieved from the sheriff she would in turn get a thank you note back and sometimes if lucky a small magical trinket that he thought might help the sherif in a stick situation. He appreciates her help so he only felt it was right to help her back.
