Hello !

As much as I like anonymity, I've come to realize the air of mysteriousness around me, the person behind this blog, can be a little offputting, and maybe a reason people don't follow me back or interact much with me. I mean, I don't even have a bio anymore (something I deleted a while ago, with the changes me and this blog have gone through).

So let's rectify that!

I'm Nico, 27 years old as of today (February 2026), entertaining thoughts about my gender for a while so my pronouns are she/he, and I'm from France.

I had this blog for almost a decade! I used to post my art, (you can see some things with the hashtag #artists on tumblr, or scroll all the way down in my archives) before I entered an animation school. I had a burn out during/after COVID and quarantines (learning 3D softwares via Zoom calls fucking suck) so I dropped out, and a year later went to film school.

I like cinema. I'm not watching much movies anymore tho (in a big depression era due to unemployment, #oversharing), but you can follow me on Letterboxd where I post my reviews in english (drop a comment here on tumblr so I follow back): https://letterboxd.com/SimpForScorsese/. I'm keen on action and sci-fi, but I'll watch anything. Also, I'm a Twin Peaks fan, even though I've seen the OG show only twice, and The Return only once. I'd say I'm also a David Lynch fan, even if the only movies I've seen more than once is Lost Highway. His films left such a great impression on me though, I'm "haunted" (complimentary) by the memory of them. It's like Twin Peaks, it's a show where the vibes never leave you.

Now, I think if you follow me today it's mostly because I've been quite active in the NIN fandom recently. I don't know if it's interesting to recap my history with the band, so I'll say I've been a fan for over 5 years, I was familiar with Trent Reznor beforehand because his soundtrack for The Social Network SLAPS, my fav album is The Fragile, and my fav song ever might be We're In This Together.

I recently switched from Spotify to Tidal, and now I have a Last.FM account, which works half the time because it doesn't register very well what I stream from my phone. You can follow me tho. What else could I say... I bingewatched House M.D. last year because I've been masterfully queerbaited by some Instagram reels, and I've been served a great lowkey queercoded show lol. Not active in the fandom tho. I don't watch much TV, but I've been a fan of The Office (watched the US version twice, watched the UK version once to compare) Malcolm in the Middle, FRIENDS (sue me), and Brooklyn Nine-Nine (left unfinished while it was airing).

Right now Embark Studios own my life, as I've been playing The Finals for almost 2 years now (joined during season 3), although I'm getting tired of the game balancing and smaller playerbase making the game more sweaty, and I've switched to Arc Raiders (playing chill and PvE). I HAVE TO play the whole Metal Gear Solid saga some day, I only played the first one on PS1, Peace Walker on PSP and MGS V on PC, but it's peak fr. Talking about peak, I'd be down if we're getting to know each others better as mutuals to share my gaming account and play some multiplayer games (like Peak) together.
