These chicks are only a few days old.

Over 10,000 Western Gulls have taken over the Anacapa Island. Between the months May thru July you can see their breeding cycle. From making their nest, breeding, laying eggs, and watching them hatch. It was an amazing experience to see.

Just got back from a solo road-trip. Here's a rough idea of what I did. I brought four cameras with me. So expect a massive photo dumb!

Fishing! I brought my reel but wasn’t able to catch anything. Jeannette had better luck on my reel! I showed her how to clean and cook the fish. I brought my stove, pan, avocado oil and some salt. It was such a great time. Funny enough, half our group is vegan.

The next day we hiked to another lake. It was so nice to just relax and do absolutely nothing. Most of these women are mothers and also managers at work, they are constantly working. It was the first time in a long while they were able to do nothing but enjoy their surroundings.
