A prospect of change - pages 35 and 36

Greet grandma Martlet! She tends to oversleep when we meet her in Undertale Yellow but older people often wake up early due to biology. Does it apply to monsters in canon as well? I don't know but in this particular AU it does.

Poor bird can't retire in peace. She woke up early with a mission - to rescue a human! How convenient, huh? However it's not random. How did she know will be revealed in the future. Though... Pages that I uploaded so far have a small hint. I wonder if anyone can find it? (probably no one, lol) (it's not from the dogs)

In this AU Martlet taught Papyrus about puzzles when he was younger. Kinda like Gerson and Undyne. In this scene Papyrus greets her coldly because he knows what he has to do now - deliver Frisk to Undyne. He wants to plead that Frisk isn't a danger to monsters but he knows that this probably won't work.

In the last page, his "well, at least you're not a human" was to give an impression that he doesn't know so Frisk won't try anything funny. But Frisk knows that he knows.

I have birthday tomorrow so I wanted to draw something freely, without much expectations for it to look good. I had fun with the different brushes. ;P

I'm still working on my comic, of course. I see from the poll (on DA) that you would like dinosaurs and warrior cats, so I'll draw it as well. I have many ideas for short Undertale comics and memes, too, and for Undertale characters in various poses and environment... so much to draw! I wish day had more hours, lol

Wait hold on what do vector layers do, this is very important information-

- an artist who only doesn’t get how the other layer options work and only uses the default color layer on every program

Basically vector layers draws lines on a more mathematical scale so the art can be easily edited without losing quality while raster (your basic layers) are on more of a pixel-based scale. Here's an example of vector vs raster:

the vector layers in CSP also assist you in erasing overlapping lines so they still look nice and neat:

And you can also directly edit the line's thickness, styles and shapes:

Here's a non-gif example of scaled and rotated vector vs raster image:

as you can see, vector retains quality while raster makes it look blurry and bleh. I tried using vector many years ago and it was being really wonky with me, but now it's not and I wonder if it was being wonky due to a bug or maybe the program just got better (I was using a very old version of CSP at the time but now I'm on the latest version).

Hoooooooookayyyyyyy this page is probably THE most intensive background I've ever drawn but I'm so happy with how it came out LOL (it's my phone background now [wheeze].)
