I came across this chair; HAG Capisco at @ruthtomlinsonjewellery studio. I fell in love with the supports this chair gives on repetitive task in my studio. I bought a couple of them recently from @backinaction_est1987 They are the best chair ever. People who works in an office or workshop, invest them. It is always pleasure to meet other amazing crafts @adrian_sassoon_gallery and honor to exhibit with them @kate_malone_ceramics @hitomihosono @vezzinichen Thank you the team ADS for the hard work!! The first image shown here is one of my large steel piece, which I started welding three years ago, and hated it… so I chopped into sections and reconstructed with them this summer. Again I was not sure first but a carjack helped to create the balance of the outline. I often find more struggle in the making, the greater the result gets in the end! I can not thank enough for British Artist Blacksmith Association; BABA for this amazing weekend. The invitation came early this year, I thought how horrifying will be,,, to be surrounded by incredibly skilled professional blacksmiths 😱 Everyone, absolutely every one of the participants was so kind and beautiful hearted bunch of makers, who shares our common passion; metal. Very nerdy, yet soooo coooool event like this gives me massive meaning for doing what I do. Thank you for The first demonstrator, Jim Whitson to agree swapping our work. Amazing hollow pear shape oil burner was made from large tube sections. To see the forging process of this was one of my highlight. Thank you for @sampearceblacksmith for his demonstration. “Less is more” stool made from many jigs and own special tool was super inspiring. I am hoping this annual event grows even further to let the world know “Making Rocks 🤘”. Pagination workshop lead by beautiful @rebeccadequin 🙏 She suggested us to use all ingredients which we can easily obtain, such as vinegar, ketchup, fruits juice,,,, and cat wee 😅 revealing the result was a bit like Christmas Day.
