Damian and Bruce

Damian being a menace for months after arriving at the manor. barely cooperating with Bruce let alone the rest of Bruce's kids.

Damian fights constantly, refusing to fall asleep all the way in front of any of them becouse he doesnt trust them yet.

then one day Damian falls asleep in the batmobile on the way back to the manor. just passes out. Bruce pulls over to take off his cloak and wrap Damian up in it, the Robin cape is thinner and its a cold night after all, doesnt want his kid getting cold

when he gets back to the Batcave, Bruce tells Alfred the data is in the Batmobile's computer and he will update him once he's gotten Damian in bed. he scoops the kid up and brings him back to his room

when he gets the kid in his bed, Bruce goes to take the cape back so he can tuck Damian in, only for Damian, fully asleep and unaware of what he is doing, to absolutely refuse to let go of the damn thing.

Chapter 35 just whent live on Royal Road! we are about a week and a half away from the end of book one!

I'm posting it on two different sites, Royal Road and AO3 but with different release schedules.

Royal Road Chapters go up on a regular schedule from my backlog.

Pros:

You get access to the story sooner.

Regular updates.

You can follow along as chapters release.

Cons:

You'll have to wait between chapters.

It may take a while for later parts of the story to become available.

AO3 I don't post anything until I've finished writing the entire book. Once the book is complete, I upload all of its chapters at once.

Pros:

No waiting between chapters.

You can read the entire book in one go.

Later chapters become available much sooner than they would through the scheduled releases on Site A.

Cons:

You have to wait longer before you can start reading.

Early chapters won't be available until the entire book is finished.
