The really neat thing about that excoriation in the first post is that, being British and speaking about a non-British government, the speaker doesn't literally have to stand on a soapbox (or other object, what is it required to be, 18 inches off the ground?) in order to legally & vituperatively describe a government official with the metaphoric truth.
