Stop acting like anxiety is cute. Stop acting like hiding in a bathroom stall, hyperventilating, after a presentation, is cute. It’s not beautiful to be scared of big crowds. It’s not adorable when someone runs out of the room because they’re shaking and can’t breathe. Puking in the bathroom stall after getting an answer wrong in class isn’t cute. Chewing your nails until they’re bleeding isn’t cute. Peeling the skin off your lips isn’t adorable. NOTHING about anxiety should be treated like It’s cute. You can be cute and just happen to have anxiety, but the anxiety isn’t going to be what makes you cute. I’m not trying to make this poetic and well written I’m just trying to get my point across.
