Mom, I wish I could hug you and talk to you even one more time. You loved me, set an example for me, worked way too many jobs (you did work-from-home way before it became a real concept), and still found time to be a Girl Scout leader and sew custom Barbie clothes for me. Our home was always open to my friends. I’ve said this before, but “Fasesky’s Kitchen” was a real thing. When I was little, I always thought I wanted parents who were a stay-at-home mom and a dad who worked a 9-to-5 in an office but I got something so much better: a mom who showed me how to be a modern and independent woman and a dad who not only was an amazing chef but encouraged all my crazy ideas and didn’t flinch (well, at least to me) when I moved across the country. If I never told you enough while you were here on this earth how much I loved and respected you, I hope I live up to your legacy of kindness and love today and every day. I love you, Mom. Happy Mother’s Day! I hope Dad is making you your once-a-year Brandy Alexander. ❤️❤️❤️ #mothersday #love #mom https://www.instagram.com/p/CdT8XMuv9FC/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
