sometimes i think about netflix adaptation of death note, i know that many people hate it but actually for me it wasn’t a disappointment. first time i saw it in 2019 ig i dont remember tbh and back then i didnt get deep into it and forgot abt it in like a week . then week ago we with my sister were painting some painting and were turning random films on background . i have been begging her to watch death note anime for years literally and then i remembered that we could watch a film.

sooo i rewatched it and actually it isn’t bad , if we watch on it from the perspective of it as an independent film . but in comparison with anime of course its mega unaccurate and even characters natures were far away from those in anime.

but the story is actually cool, yeah ngl its not the best but i really love this movie, especially the plot twist at the end. yeah i wish the cast was better but its ok until the movie is good . My personal favorite is light there bc he doesn’t act like he would in anime, he is choosing the lesser of two evils and actually care about the world where he unlike in anime doesn’t want to proclaim himself a new god (or not, i wasn’t watching it with full attention cuz i was painting okay) im gonna rewatch it and then i will write my full opinion about this movie

for me death note is the greatest masterpiece ever made, since 10 or maybe i was even younger when watched it for the first time i rewatched it like at least 30 times im not kidding , in every languages i know (i know only three 🥲: english, russian, polish ) i also watched it in italian but didnt understand anything (i want to learn italian so bad🙂‍↕️) i didn’t read manga but im going to. currently im reading BB case (Death Note Another Note The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases) its peak!! mega recommend .
