What Ruesha said āš¼
Israeli forces have once again intercepted a humanitarian aid ship on international waters and taken the [21] unarmed civilian volunteers hostage.
Are you okay with what youāre seeing?
Are you okay with living in a world ruled by the terror and impunity of Israel?
How long before their tyranny reaches you and me?

Sabrina learned what war is.. Sabrina: since you are so off topic; how have you exactly helped people in Gaza ?
ā
Thanks for asking! Iām happy to share ideas on how to help:
I have donated to the GoFundMe pages of multiple Gazans, I have donated to multiple charities such as Water is Life Gaza, Fund a Kitchen in Gaza (humantiproject.org), Hind Rajab foundation, Save the Children, etc.
I am no longer spending my money with businesses supporting Israel and its genocide (with the help of the free app No Thanks!), I have canceled my Amazon prime membership and no longer order from Amazon, I have switched my web browser from Google to DuckDuckGo.
I continuously call and email my elected official, my minister of foreign affairs, other countriesā ministries of foreign affairs, and other relevant parties to demand they uphold international law and sanction Israel and denounce the genocide and not be complicit to genocide. I sign petitions and send automated letters as and when I come across them.
I continue to speak out about the genocide and to raise awareness about what is happening in Gaza anywhere and everywhere I can, especially in spaces where there is silence. I do this mostly online but also post signs in my neighbourhood as well ā because we must break through the silence! We cannot normalize this silence. Silence is complicity. Silence helps the oppressor. Silence fuels the genocide.
I wish I could do more but itās also important to remember that every little action counts. No one is Superman. Every person doing a little, doing whatever little they can, adds up to something bigger.
Former UN aid chief: Israel is committing āworst crime of the 21st centuryā in Gaza
So what have you done to help? And if you havenāt yet, what are you waiting for?
It's really nice when you find out that someone you used to look up to and find comfort in removed your comment raising awareness about the jenny-side and pleading for people to speak up. Staying silent about the jenny-side is bad enough as it is, but actively choosing to censor it? Why?! Is everyone a Zeeo?! What has happened to the world!?!?
As Jessica Silva posted, āI see humans, but no humanityā š
Dr. Marwan Sultan is dead.
A man. Not a soldier, not a politician, not a merchant of ambition. A healer. A quiet servant of life. He is gone. Not felled in the blindness of fate, but targeted. Not swallowed by time, but torn from it by men who speak of order with blood on their hands.
He was the Director of the Indonesian Hospital in Gaza, and yet he did not rule from above. He walked not in the footsteps of bureaucrats, but in the footsteps of the wounded. His title meant nothing to him, and everything to those he served. He wore it not as a badge of honor, but as a burden, one he carried with sacred defiance.
I knew him not in years, but in essence. His kind does not require time to be known, for they stand apart immediately, terribly, like those who carry within them a fire too pure for this earth.
He did not believe in power, only in presence. He walked among the wounded as if their pain were his own, which it was. His hands, stained with the blood of strangers, did not tremble. He stood not above us, but beside us, shoulder to shoulder, not as a manager, but as a brother in despair.
And when the sirens wailed, when the children were brought in with limbs dangling like forgotten promises, he did not flee. He only looked to the heavens and whispered, "Prepare yourselves." Not in fear. In readiness. Because he knew this world is no place for the gentle.
He fought not the war outside, but the greater war: the war against apathy, against the soul's slow death under bureaucracy and cowardice. He pleaded with ministers who had long sold their conscience, begged for crumbs to feed the ones who had given everything and received nothing.
And still, he smiled.
Not out of foolish hope, but out of something holier: defiance.
Do you know what it is to be cheerful in hell? That was his miracle. That was his rebellion.
But now, he is gone.
Not laid to rest by time, but shattered by the very forces he sought to resist, by a world that devours its saints and erects monuments to its butchers.
They will call it collateral. They will say he was "in the way."
But I say this: He died as Christ died. Not with weapons in his hands, but with love in his bones.
Every lash of cruelty, every bomb that falls upon the just, cries out for judgment. And one day, if not in this world, then in the next, there will be reckoning.
We write his name not in marble, but in memory. We carry him not in our prayers alone, but in our trembling hands, which must now continue his work.
Dr. Marwan Sultan did not die. He was martyred. And the earth is poorer for his absence.
But if there is any justice, any at all, he is now somewhere beyond pain, and looking down upon us not with sorrow, but with pity.
Because he was better than us all. And this world, this murderous, miraculous world, never deserved him.

landpalestine The only artist we should be talking about today is Palestinian artist Frans (Amina) al-Salmi who was murdered by Israel, along with 29 other people, in a cafƩ in Gaza today.
āGaza has exposed how meaningless feminism is when it mobilizes its global forces against a piece of clothing but not against a live-streamed genocide whose primary victims are women. Seventy percent of those killed by Israelās war in Gaza are women and children. In the end, Western feminism will not be betrayed by the patriarchy nor by Trump or Rishi Sunak or any of the interchangeable right-wing men in power, rather it will be undone by its own foot soldiers: women who have been silent over the worst crimes our generation has witnessed in our lifetime.ā
ā Fatima Bhutto
From the context, I'm going to assume that the "piece of clothing" in question is a hijab or a burka and I do not know how to explain to you that a) the situation in Gaza does not make it OK to kill a woman because a little bit of her hair was visible or commit the multitude of horrific atrocities that the Taliban is committing against Afghan women and girls, and b) the main forces of feminism being mobilised against these atrocities are from women IN the Middle East. Get this sick, manipulative propaganda out of the fucking feminism tag. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Hi. I think youāve very much misunderstood the text. The point is obviously not to minimize the severity of the oppression middle eastern women face and the consequences they face for fighting that oppression. Itās simply pointing out the horrific hypocrisy of the western feminists who rally around middle eastern women when they face terrorism from extremist Islamic groups/governments but are radio silent when middle eastern women are facing GENOCIDE committed by the State of Israel.
When Iranian and Afghan women are being terrorized and murdered over breaking clothing rules or other oppressive rules, we see a whole worldwide celebrity campaign of solidarity (as we should!) but when Gazan women are being murdered for literally just being Gazan, for just existing, we donāt see the same outcry from celebrities or the media or the international community as a whole. We hear crickets. It doesnāt make any sense. Itās unconscionable.
ā⦠the 9,671 dead women in Gaza and 15,370 slaughtered children have warranted no public acts of sisterhood from any of the public figures who made videos, wore t-shirts, posted, and bellowed the Iranian cry of Women, Life, Freedom during the Iranian protests against the veil.ā (Note: this death toll is outdated, itās from early 2024.)
Maybe channel your outrage towards the sick, manipulative propaganda being pedalled by Israel (and all Zionists) that is allowing them to starve babies, shoot children, and exterminate Palestinians off the face of the earth.

Iām not even excited for the Euros anymore. I donāt know if Iāll watch. I use to be very into WoSo but took a step back because life. Returning to this community to discover the almost complete silence in response to an ongoing genocide, from players and fans alike, is dizzying. This is a community that has always prided itself on social justiceāso many players have always prided themselves on using their voices for something bigger than the game. Where are those voices now, when we are faced with the biggest humanitarian disaster of our time, when babies are being intentionally st@rved to de@th and children intentionally bIown in half? It feels like it was all just a load of sh^t. It feels like everyone is just a load of sh^t. Where did our collective humanity go? We are the Capitol. Itās not fiction.
I wonder if any players will be bold and make a statement for Palestine during this tournament? I pray at least one person (or better yet, one team) has the courage to but Iām not holding my breath. Iāve never hoped for a pitch invader before but I do right nowāa pitch invader holding a Palestinian flag (better yet, a sea of pitch invaders holding Palestinian flags!)
Anyway, Iāve been trying to find openly pro-Palestine players. The list is disturbingly short. Hereās who I have so far:
Jessica Silva
Ruesha Littlejohn
Christen Press
Anna Heilferty
Guess these are my new favourite players lmao (well Ruesha already was because Ruesha is elite). Please do let me know if you know of anyone else!

The world might be looking away from the extermination of the Palestinian people but they sure as f*#ā¬, as always, are paying attention to celebrities.
#FreedomOverFawning is a mission to flood the Instagram posts of celebrities (who are Zionist and/or silent to the genocide) with comments in support of Palestine.
The mission is to make it impossible for the masses to ignore what is going on or to feel comfortable supporting those who support the genocidal State of Israel.
You can post hashtags like #FreePalestine, you can post Free Palestine gifs, you can post the Palestinian flag, you can post the estimated death count or other disturbing facts, you can post whatever you want in solidarity with Palestine. (Just be sure your comment does not include any abusive language.)
ā
Step 1: follow the celebrities listed below on Instagram
Step 2: Turn on notifications (posts and reels)
Step 3: Wait to be notified about new posts from said celebrities. Then comment with your Free Palestine message, so that we will all be commenting simultaneously
