I hardly ever create paintings inspired by portrait photos, but I was super inspired by @therealswizzz #lilgoddess #artchallenge 😊 I created three portraits inspired by a photo of his daughter... this is the third & very much in my own style. I loved the progression of creating a series based on a photo & the way each piece got me to create and observe in new ways. 😊 Thanks #thedeancollection ~ created with oils, inks, acrylics, pencil, chalk & pen on paper.

Here is another painting inspired by @MistyMawn & her ‪#‎artentwined‬ online class... I had so much fun starting with a magazine face & adding layers (oil paintsticks, acrylics, inks, papers, pencil & water-soluble oil pastels).
