So excited about my first printstallation! At PNCA and part of a group exhibition with the MFA in visual studies/low residency cohort

Using open bite without aquatint! Because of icon transfer with electric current for "etch" of copper, takes small dots and can achieve darks without aquatint! Yes still need to develop my technique and yes better solid blacks with aquatint- but exciting start and hopeful start!

Experiments with electro-etching on copper with chine colle, using BIG acrylic ground for both soft and hard ground- LOVE IT

Opening reception for Sculpture into Print exhibit at A6 Studio & Gallery in Bend, Oregon. A6 founder, Pat Clark and I co-curated the exhibition and worked with seven Oregon sculpture artists to create prints that were informed by their sculpture pieces. It was a wonderful collaboration and the resulting show is very exciting! Up through the end of November.
