Every summer the vines consume my backyard. I have no idea how to handle this situation. They’re everywhere, they’re so overwhelming, crawling up the house and the fence and the shed. They sometimes start coming under the back door and I have to cut them back. No other backyard in my neighborhood has this problem. I never see them doing yard work to fix it, but I must be missing it. I work on the weekends. I will not be spending my limited free time fighting the vines and the crickets that nest in them in the 90 degree weather. I concede to the vines.

Getting absolutely humiliated at work (I am very green at a high-skill job) and becoming (jokingly) suicidal over it with the seasoned techs, then watching a seasoned tech do the same (rare, difficult) exam and fuck up in the same exact way.... ooh the pain and the pleasure... a delicious life experience
