I apologize for this. I know that it’s been silence on my end, and I don’t really do much here because the other blog is like 99.9% of my focus. But if you’re still interested in interacting, you can find all the muses on the blog mentioned above.

I’m going to be putting this blog on a Permanent Semi-Hiatus. Hythlodaeus’ muse is still there, no doubt about it. I haven’t been in the best of states, and running three blogs is a bit difficult when you feel like you’re on some sort of timer.

So I’m turning off that timer by putting my blog on a Perma Semi-Hiatus. It’s mostly for my own mental health and wellbeing. I haven’t been doing well this month, and I have mainly been on my OC multimuse this entire time. But I’ll do my best to be somewhat active in the coming year.

        Despite her seeminly nonchalant attitude towards it all, thoughts began wandering off into various subjects. Pondering and theorizing what had vexed the other individual so much. That was the beauty of life she surmised. It possessed copious variety, though there were some situations which rang a similar tune to others. 

         Hearing the more jovial one’s agreement then watching him saunter off, Odtsetseg pursued him. 

        “Simply remember to evaluate your surroundings, before speaking too much Hythlodaeus,” she teased. “It would not be to our benefit, if we ended up in problems that could have easily been avoided.”

She was right in that regard. He did need to evaluate his surroundings before speaking too much. But, as someone from the pre-sundering years, he figured having too much caution was ridiculous. There was only so much caution one could have before it became detrimental.

“But what if those problems I cause by being less cautious open up new avenues of investigation?” He’s teasing, mostly, with a chuckle to accompany it. “I jest. I’ll take your words into consideration.”

She sighed, thought it was caught between exasperation and fondness as she reached out to sweep the hair from his face.  “What are you doing here?  You had made no indication you wished to join me.  For that matter, even if you had, I would have turned you away.  I am not going somewhere safe, and I worry for you.  I know you can certainly hold your own but…”  She trailed off, before sighing again and giving him a soft smile.  “What am I to do with you, my little stowaway?”

“Because I knew, if I told you I wanted to come along, you would’ve told me to remain in Amaurot for my own safety.” He sat up, arm still blocking the sun’s rays until his eyes adjusted to the brightness. Though he knew it would mean that Azem would worry, despite him being more than capable of holding his own (without magic, at that), Hythlodaeus didn’t want her to face the dangers alone.

I am still roleplaying Hythlodaeus, I’ve just not been in the right mindset to be roleplaying him for a bit. Plus I’ve been feeling like my portrayal is shitty as of late, so there’s that too.
