Sam here! It’s been a long time since I’ve posted on here, and we basically just use our Twitter now, so this seems like as good a time as any for an update for anyone who’s been following us here.

Things that have happened since the last time we posted, which was, uh, oops, about six months ago:

We have finished the show, but the podcast is not over! We are currently a few episodes into reading a “season 6″ fanfic and having a great time being free of Brenda’s Vision

Jordan has started a Yakuza podcast which I am writing in bold because I’m going to tag this with Yakuza stuff so if anyone is confused about why they’re seeing this post in the Yakuza tags it’s because hey there’s a Yakuza podcast if you’re interested with friend of the show Argyle! Hot on the heels of our Patreon-exclusive Grease 2 episode which you should definitely check out, we’re heading right back to the bowling alley for S05E06, “Holy Rollers”! Just kidding, this is actually a church episode, not a bowling episode. Don’t feel bad if you fell for that lie, because last week did exactly as much work foreshadowing everyone going to the bowling alley as it did foreshadowing everyone going to church: none. Anyway, everyone is going to church for some reason. This week, we’ve got reefer madness. Better hide your knives!

Supernatural fans, get the shotguns! It’s S05E02, “Shotgun”, another episode where very little actually happens! We can’t remember what Dylan’s mom’s name is so we just say some words. If at any point during this episode, you’re not sure what we’re talking about? We’re probably talking about Dylan’s mom, Pumpkin Spice Latte. This week, fluff time’s over. Four seasons down, but content never sleeps! Our nightmare continues with S05E01, “To Begin With…” and boy! We sure couldn’t hear each other for most of this episode! It’s perhaps our connectionissuesiest episode yet, but we somehow managed to discuss this entire episode. What was it about? Looks like… [checks notes] mostly milk? This week, the milk was a great idea. Thank you as always to the God of Television!

You know, sometimes writing these descriptions is a real struggle. What is there to say every week when the plot of every single episode these days is just “Amy is bad, and Ricky is a handsome genius”? It’s S04E21, “Allies”, and it certainly is an episode of Secret Life. Between the mandatory Amy hate and Omar’s, uh, heel turn??? there’s not a whole lot of good things to talk about, but at least George is hilarious as always! This week, we love Game of Scrones. You’ll get ’em next time, Keith!

GRAH-AH-AH! This is Juergen’ It here! We’re talking about S04E17, “Suddenly This Summer”, another bad one! Brenda promised us a free outdoor concert in the park, and instead we got, uh, Adrian learning what dating is. Yes, really! For the first fourth time! Also some exciting Divorce Attorney drama you DON’T want to miss! Just kidding, obviously it goes nowhere, because it couldn’t possibly go anywhere. This week, we’re asking the question on everyone’s minds: who IS Andrew?!

The smooth sailing continues to not continue, and it’s S04E15, “Defiance”! We have learned that there will never be another episode without the Brenda Hampton Stamp of Writing Quality on it, and we’re very happy about this news! Time to brace ourselves for the rest of the show being a nonstop nightmare of Ricky being mean to Amy while the sweet music plays! This week, America has spoken: we want AP4! We’re here with Roy of the show Roy to talk about S04E03, “When Opportunity Knocks,” and then to talk about it again two days later after Roy’s computer bluescreened halfway through the episode! Shoutout to Discord voice recording bot Craig, without whom this episode wouldn’t exist! Anyway, this episode is bad. Grace is not a person, George is a very bad person, Jack thinks it’s season 3 again, you know the drill. This week, we talk way too much about Game of Thrones. Sorry!

Welcome to 2019! For our first Juerg of the year, we’re watching S03E21, “Young at Heart”! And folks, when the title is relevant to the episode, you know it’s gonna be a bad one!
