Jude nodded, coming in and curling himself onto the couch. “How are the kids doing..?

"They’re fine….you want a beer or somethin?"

Jude shrugged. “Sure… Has your dad been staying here?”

"No he keeps the kids at his house during the day while I’m gone" he left to get two beers from the kitchen handing one to Jude.

"So… You’re here alone?" He frowned, reaching for his hand.

Looks at him in confusion. “No the kids are here….”

"You know what I mean…"

"Well since Gage is who the fuck knows where, yeah I am. I’m fine Jude…I’m a big boy, I can take care of myself"

"I didn’t say you couldn’t… I just worry about you, okay?"

"I’m fine Judie"

Jude sighed. "Ok...." He moved closer, snuggling himself into his friend's side.

The night after getting home with his new husband, Jude decided to pay Carson a visit. He missed his friend, having not seen him for quite a while. Every once in a while he saw Hank and the kids, but never with Carson. He knocked at their door, hoping he was home.

Carson was a bit startled at the knock on the door, making sure the kids were still asleep, he grabbed his gun and tucked it in the back of his jeans hidden by his shirt and went to the door. He opened it and immediately relaxed some seeing who was there. “Oh my god Jude, hey! What are you doing here?” He smiled, pulling him in for a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

Jude grinned as his friend opened the door, hugging him back tightly. “Hey! I haven’t seen you on forever! I wanted to come and see you.” He let his hands wander to the other mans lower back gently, freezing when he felt something hard. “Car…? What’s that?”

Carson stepped back nervously, his heart jumping into his throat. “N-nothing, it’s nothing” he mentally kicked himself for hugging him, not thinking about him feeling the gun. He’d been too excited to see h. “So um, how was Vegas? You and Aid have a good time?”

Jude nodded slowly, deciding to let it go for now. “It was great… We got married.”

"Dad told me" he smiled, relieved he didn’t push it farther. "That baby boy of yours is a little angel. He’s just precious"

"Was he good? We missed him so and Maddie so much." He gave Carson’s hand a squeeze. "We missed you too."

"A perfect angel…Dad’s in love" he chuckled. "Oh me? I’m not so missable" he shrugged. Dad said he told you guys about stupid old me landing myself in the hospital again while you were gone, hope he didn’t make it sound like a big deal"

"Car... It is a big deal. We were really worried." He sighed softly. "look... Can I come in please? I'd like to hang out if you have the time.
