The thing about reading books and watching movies and TV is that the best ones are about human relationships. Obviously. That's basically the thing in life, human relationships. And you're reading these books and watching this TV to deliver you from loneliness, in a way, or at least to distract you from it. But it actually makes you more lonely

I'm organizing a reunion dinner with my former coworkers and I keep #doubting. I'm like will they not want to travel to the restaurant I picked. Well I'm traveling many hours to get there so they can travel a little bit. Will they like the restaurant. Is it an imposition to ask them to come to this. No!!!! People love to be invited to things. And to have someone else organize. And to hang out with people they like. And it doesn't really matter what restaurant I pick. It doesn't even matter if the food is bad because it's not about that. Nobody is scrutinizing this like I am

It can feel like the kitchen is a warzone but then you spend 5 minutes cleaning while cooking and 5 minutes cleaning after eating and it's restored to pristine condition

I have to prepare a laptop with some special software to be shipped out tomorrow for work. I really wanted to get it done today, since I was going to wfh tomorrow because I have a doctor's appointment and a job interview (lol) but I needed 1 thing from my manager to finish my testing and wrap it all up. I reminded him several times. At 5:15 he finally sends it to me, but there's something wrong with it. So I went home... and now I have to go in tomorrow after my doctor's appointment and install that and do my testing. Which is fine I guess. Assuming the testing works!!

Someone's car alarm has been going off for the past 20 minutes and it's making me want to commit vandalism
