if his father taught him anything, it was the importance of a firm handshake. you never know who you’re shaking hands with. you never know who can do you a major favor when you need one. first impressions were the most important and lido wasn’t entirely sure that admitting to crying over grey’s anatomy was exactly that. he had to rely on the handshake. “dunno, not much of a lunch person. brunch, sure. dinner, sure. lunch kind of lost its charm when i started brunching. it’s not as appropriate to get drunk at brunch,” he shrugged, another comment working against him in the grand scheme of things. “where were you thinking of heading?”

josh raised an eyebrow, a light laugh leaving his lips at the thought of it. “but if you think about it, loads of people have a mimosa at brunch. it’s not as uncommon as you’d think.” he pursed his lips slightly. he hadn’t actually put much thought into where he was going. he was just going to take a walk and stop by a place that seemed decent. “i only just got here a couple weeks ago, so i’m still not sure what’s good and what’s trash. maybe you could help me settle on a place?”
