Dos!

We may have found, bought, and moved into our dream home! The minute we walked into this Eichler-esque type home, we were in love! And amazingly enough, we’ve made it our own. Guys! It has an atrium!! AN ATRIUM! And the entire home is built around it! This house has four bedrooms, two and a half baths, and is exactly twice the size of our first home, at 2450 sq. ft.

We’ve already had a few adventures in this house. For example, we went without air conditioning for 20 days, which would not be a problems IF IT WAS WINTER… but it wasn’t, instead it was over 100 degrees each of those days. We also discovered no one disclosed the fact that we have a septic tank. Six hundred dollars later, and it was located, inspected, and pumped. I’m grateful for a husband who is fighting to get that money back from the previous owner since all that legally needed to be done before we purchased the home.

Despite some minor setbacks, we love it here. There are so many plans for this house, but we’ve done what we could this summer. I’m excited to continue to make it our own with Joserisms!
