Beg pardon?Goku’s shown quite a bit of love and affection to his family, not the least of which has been literally dying for his son. Twice.  Flew into a rage when his son was kidnapped. And then there’s these.

Spending time with his family in downtime before the Cell Games.And here we have him outright telling Gohan those words he’s apparently never said: “I’m proud of you”, coupled with concern over the impact this was going to have on his wife.

And here he is having spent the evening listening to his youngest tell him about his day and showing support for his oldest son’s dream.

Looks like Goku did the things.Also, as a special bonus, have Vegeta’s own admission.

Goku never shows he cares about Gohan…

LIKE… CAN YOU BELIEVE GOKU DID THAT???  Risking his life for his baby while trying to console him???  Superior parent Vegeta knows how to do it RIGHT:

Instead of showing off his new baby to his friends and risking his life to save him, Goku obviously shoulda LET GOHAN DIE.  If he only acted just like Vegeta’s way of parenting, the fandom wouldn’t think Goku was such an awful, abusive, and neglectful father.

And can you believe he’s never hugged his son??

Meanwhile, like what was stated above, Vegeta dishes out hugs and affection ALL THE TIME.

Goku never shows any interest in spending time with his family outside of training.

I’ll bet that fishing trip was comprised of Goku pouting the entire time, acting like he was annoyed at having to spend time with his own son.  WHAT A BOTHER.  Then at the end of the fishing trip, he threw a massive temper tantrum and flew off into the sky.

Also, Goku never displays casual physical affection, encouragement, and compliments because he’s so cold-blooded

I mean, Piccolo kidnapping Gohan, ignoring him for 6 months in the wilderness only to return to beat the shit out of him trumps ALL the years Goku spent training with Gohan, turning him Super Saiyan, and raising him quietly with Chichi.

Goku cares about Gohan so much that he cares about such little things about his son??  I can’t believe such toxic parenting was allowed to happen!!!!  Let’s consult superior parent Vegeta in how to react in this situation:

Goku should have just stood there, glaring while making displeased grunts, and ignored his son.  I can’t believe Goku is too dense to know how to be a good parent like Vegeta!  Goku has a lot to learn from Vegeta.

Lesson #1:  If you make a mistake, blame it on your kid who did no wrong.
