Right, so, full disclosure: I made a mistake. I was brewing a little… something… and ran out of vials so I stepped out to grab the first containers I could find and fill them up. When I was done I set them on that table and now… they’re not there. So if you drank from one of the bottles that were sitting here… just… ride it out?

Weird substances that get you high? Sounds like my jam. Not gonna lie, I’m really disappointed I missed out. 

Damn I’ve never been so happy to get back to training in the outdoors. Anybody else still feel like they could run a marathon right now after this morning’s session? I’m starting to realize how close I was to losing it in that manor these past couple months.

My trauma’s mostly out there anyways. I tase people when I touch them. It’s great fun. Oh no. I fucking hate him. He can rot.

I could never hate you, but I may question some of the decisions you choose to make. But I recognize that’s not my business and I’m doing the overcrowding thing that my girls always hated, so I will not do that any longer.

And you’re a Holistic witch. What’s your family name? And your experience with magic? 

No, you don’t have to tell me anything. Not sure yet, no. I’ve been giving Miss Victoria some space. Don’t think dealing with traitors is at the top of her priority list right now, and I’m not exactly about to ask.

I don’t really mind or care who knows. I trusted the wrong person and let them into my home. Instead of a wonderful family meal, I got blood, guts, and destruction. She brought in hunters and slaughtered my family while I hid in and watched it all happen. I had my magic then, but I was so afraid of using it that I just stayed hidden. My father’s still alive– I think.

I will take that under advisement but just know that there will likely be a stern motherly glare in your direction whenever I remember this conversation.

Maybe it’s just my face. I think they made some potions and learned some offensive stuff and self defense but I don’t know completely.

Now that it’s been a few days since we’ve regained control of the manor and I’ve had time to myself, I’d like to extend my gratitude to everyone personally. I’m afraid I don’t have as many beautiful words and dramatic statements as I thought I would by this time, but it’s no use waiting to let you all know how grateful I am for your dedication, resilience, and self sacrifice. Everything that we’ve done here, everything that we’ve ever accomplished could’ve ended if it weren’t for the pack and the witches involved in research. I aim to repay you with safety… a future that extends beyond the hunts… time in order to heal from the horrors you all have face over the past couple of months… and as much alcohol as your hearts desire. But even that doesn’t feel like enough for what you’ve all endured. As… leader of the Black coven, it’s going to be my mission to ensure something like this never happens again. And to those new faces in the crowd I haven’t yet had the pleasure of meeting under desirable circumstances, a welcome to Carden manor from your finally bathed host. 

Does anyone have suggestions for when alcohol fails to be the correct solution? Asking for a friend. 

Luck and cool people is really the way to go. Next time you get casually stabbed, I do know how to stitch. I guess I probably should have been … offering that service at a better time but here we are. 

Yes, Miss Jordan. I’ve heard I am. Don’t worry though, still real sturdy too. Usually training’s just a wolf thing, but we did have witches learning some stuff once. I’m sure we’ll see what the leaders plan to do but I have your back either way.
