"Who are we watching?" Seokjin asked.

"Y/L/N Y/N. She's one of the best gymnasts in the world right now. She's the first Korean gymnast to qualify for the all-around gymnastics event." Taehyung explained, putting the volume of the television up to try and listen to the conversation you were having with your coach amidst the loud chatter of the arena.

"My parents have talked about her." Jungkook piped up. "My mom loves her."

After the warmup ended, Y/N followed a handful of gymnasts to the vault for their one-touch warmup. She was fourth in line, right behind Simone Biles, and both athletes looked nervous. Y/N was fidgeting with her fingers, watching the first two gymnasts complete their passes with ease. She was hiding her nerves well but Taehyung could see the uncertainty in her eyes.

"She looks so nervous." He muttered.

Hoseok scrunched up his face. "How can you tell? She's just standing there."

"Look at the way she's fidgeting with her fingers. She looks like she's going to throw up." Taehyung pointed out.

True to his word, Y/N was still playing around with her fingers as she watched Simone prepare for her one-touch pass. She watched closely as Simone ran toward the vault, jumping on the springboard with full force only to rotate in the air one-and-a-half times, even with the support of the vault. She landed on her feet carefully and immediately walked toward her coach, clearly not in the right state of mind. Y/N only looked even more nervous after seeing Simone fail to complete her pass with the usual precision.

Seokjin scoffed, "How did you even notice that? You sound like a creep."

"I don't know, I guess I've watched too many videos of her." Taehyung shrugged.

Jimin threw a chip at him. "You really are a creep."

Y/N easily completed her one-touch pass before disappearing into the back with her coach to wait for her turn in the all-around event. Taehyung nodded his head in satisfaction, unsurprised that her warmup was perfect. He wasn't sure why she was so nervous but he hoped that her nerves were gone after completing her one-touch pass with no issues.

"Wow."

"Wow."

"That's so cool."

"How does she do that?"

"I want to try vault."

"You would eat shit if you did."

"Y/N is definitely winning this event." Taehyung smirked. "The other competitors are nothing compared to Y/N."

Maybe Seokjin was right about him being a creep for knowing so much about a young girl, but Y/N caught his attention when one of her highlight videos at an international competition was recommended on YouTube. Call it a coincidence, but Taehyung felt that her video was on his homepage at the right time. He was bored out of his mind being stuck in his home because of the pandemic but Y/N immediately took his boredom away. He fell down a rabbit hole and by dawn, he knew every bit of information about her.

"You're so kind, Taehyung." Jimin patted his back. "But she's a good gymnast so I understand why you're a fan."

"Good? She's not good, she's brilliant."

Yoongi rolled his eyes before flipping to another channel. "Calm down, Prince Charming. You’re doing too much."

Y/N did win the event.

And she did well just as Taehyung predicted. In fact, she did so well that she performed a skill during her floor routine that no other gymnast had performed which allowed it to be added to the Code of Points.

"That was crazy to watch." Hoseok picked up the remote to switch to YouTube. "Are there any videos of her to watch?"

"I don't get how she did everything so easily," Namjoon said. "Why does her body move like that? How can it move like that? That should not be scientifically possible."

Yoongi rolled his eyes, "Is this your first time watching a gymnast compete?"

Taehyung put the volume up to drown their grating voices, more interested in watching Y/N receive her gold medal. It effectively silenced them as they brought their focus back to the TV. Although Y/N had no idea that they were watching her, they cheered loudly when she received her medal and flowers. Bam celebrated with them, barking loudly while dashing around the living room. He knocked several furniture pieces over but the members paid him no mind.

"Are there any other videos of her competing? I want to see more." Jungkook said.

"I have a playlist of her videos." Taehyung grabbed the remote off of the floor before switching over to YouTube. He logged into his account, his homepage being filled with videos of Y/N.

The other members shared a look with one another, creeped out by how much Taehyung liked her. They watched as Taehyung clicked on his playlists, mortified by how he created multiple just for one person. They ranged from full routines, interviews, appearances on variety shows; it seemed as if almost every single video that was posted about her on YouTube was sorted into a playlist.

Taehyung had always been a unique person. They noticed from their debut days that when he became fixated on something, he became obsessed with it. It didn’t happen often but they noticed his behavior from when he was young. There was nothing alarming about the way he acted considering his fixations didn’t last long but this; this was new. It was his first time being fixated on a person, on a human being. That fact alone made his obsession terrifying. The curated playlists he had solely dedicated to Y/N only solidified their fears even further.

His obsession with Y/N ran much deeper than being her fan.

"You're very organized." Yoongi noted.

"It's easier to look up her videos this way." Taehyung hummed, clicking on the playlist of Y/N's highlights at various competitions. He scrolled down before selecting a video from the 2019 World Championships.

"It's like you're obsessed." Jimin joked.

Jungkook elbowed him harshly in the ribs, giving him a look to knock it off but Jimin simply shrugged. Surely, Taehyung would know that he was joking and meant no harm.

"You could say that." Taehyung replied. "Something about her draws me in, you know?"

"Sure." Seokjin nodded.

They fell silent as the video started, deciding to focus on Y/N's performances rather than question Taeyhyung's creepy obsession with her. They were continuously impressed with how talented she was, wondering how someone could perform such complex skills with ease. After watching her balance beam routine, they could understand why she was named the Olympic Champion. She easily stood out compared to the other gymnasts who were competing.

"Has Y/N guest starred on any variety shows?" Namjoon asked. "I'm surprised I haven't heard about her until today."

"A few," Taehyung switched to a playlist that was dedicated to the scarce variety show appearances that Y/N had. "She's too busy with training to guest star but she tries when she's available." He selected an episode of Knowing Bros, which had a whooping ten million views.

As the group watched the episode in silence together, the other members could understand why Y/N drew Taehyung in so easily. She was a captivating person because of her charming personality which made her extremely likable. She was kind to the cast members of Knowing Bros, making them laugh with her witty remarks and awe them with her talented skills. She was extremely well-spoken that it left everybody wanting to hear her speak more.

"Can we watch an interview?" Jungkook requested, moving closer to the TV. He sat on his knees like a toddler, captivated by all of the thumbnails that had Y/N's face on it. "I like hearing her talk."

"Of course."

Taehyung grinned to himself as he changed playlists once again. He knew from the start that the rest of the members would eventually take a liking to Y/N once he introduced them to her. None of them were avid fans of gymnastics so he had anticipated that the Tokyo Olympics were going to be where they got the first impression of her. He was satisfied with their blatant interest with her, hoping it would lead him once step closer to meeting her. Although he was one of the most famous celebrities in South Korea, Taehyung was aware that his interest in Y/N would spark controversy and he intended to avoid that. If the other members also became a fan of hers, he was sure they could convince their management team to set something up with her.

Truth be told, there were several instances where Taehyung wanted to stage a meet-cute with Y/N but her whereabouts made it difficult. Rarely was she ever in Korea because she was training in the U.S. and when she was visiting home, it was for a brief amount of time. Not only that, he would have to figure out the places she would go if she did stay longer than a couple of weeks which was quite frankly, too much work for him. He was desperate to meet her in-person but wanted a valid excuse to do so.

"I like her." Yoongi stated. "I can see why she's really popular."

"Charming, isn't she?" Taehyung asked. "That's what I like about her so much. She does the bare minimum but she easily draws you in."

"She's like a drug." Jungkook piped up.

Namjoon shook his head, "Terrible comparison."

"He's right." Taehyung shrugged. "She's addictive and once you get a taste of her, you can't get enough."

"Have you thought of names yet?" Eunae asked.

You fell silent at her question as you were still hesitant about the names you had in mind for the twins. Both of your favorite names were ones you chose with Hoseok and neither of you thought of a name past your two favorites.

"What about Taewon and Taehan for boy names?" You suggested.

Hoseok scrunched up his face and shook his head. "No, Taehyungie is going to think that we wanted our kid to have matching names with him and we will never hear the end of it. Jungkook and Jimin are also going to complain that it's not fair that the baby doesn't have a name that matches theirs.

You nodded your head in agreement, realizing that was a very likely scenario. "You're right. I don't want to hear any whining or boasting from any of them."

The two of you shared a laugh, unable to believe that you had to be mindful of three of your friends when naming your future kids. As much as you loved the maknaes, you had a feeling they wouldn't be too happy if the names of your children were similar to the names of the members.

"I like Aerum for a girl and Daeyoung for a boy." Hoseok offered. "But you want matching names, right?"

"Yeah, I would prefer them to have matching names but we can add them to our list anyways. It gives us more options when we do have to choose a name."

You weren't entirely sure why you and Hoseok were choosing baby names even though there wasn't a baby anywhere in the near future but the topic came up after Hoseok learned about the name of his makeup artist's new baby. You had a long list of baby names you picked out a few years before while Hoseok never considered any names so he decided to indulge in you and create a list; it was much more entertaining than he thought it would be.

"Oh, how about Jaehee for a girl? It's so cute." You gushed.

A smile spread across his face as he said the name for himself. "Jaehee? I like it. Jung Jaehee has a nice ring to it."

You smiled as well, giddy at the mere thought of your kids having Hoseok's last name. Although it was common for women to keep their maiden name after marriage, you planned on hyphenating your last name with Hoseok's.

"I came across Jaeyoung for a boy name a few minutes ago. Don't Jaehee and Jaeyoung go well together?" Hoseok turned his phone around to show you the name.

"Jung Jaehee and Jung Jaeyoung." You hummed. "I love it."

"I can't wait until we can settle down and start a family." Hoseok sighed. He nuzzled his face into the crook of your neck, picturing what his future with you would look like once his career slowed down. He knew nothing would be set in stone until after he enlisted in the military unless you were okay with getting married before then. Nevertheless, he was sure you were going to be the woman he married.

"Me too." You kissed the top of his head. "I'm counting the days."

You blinked away the tears that formed in your eyes and cleared your throat. "I was thinking of the names Jaehee and Jaeyoung. They were the names I chose with my ex-boyfriend before we broke up."

Eunae's face fell at your remark but she quickly smiled. "Those are beautiful names and they fit the twins perfectly."

You looked down at the twins, saying their names out loud. "Y/L/N Jaehee and Y/L/N Jaeyoung; they have a nice ring to it."

Jaehee's features were eerily similar to Hoseok's. Funny enough, she looked like Jiwoo since she was the female version of her younger brother. Your heart ached and your mind was troubled at how Jaehee was Hoseok's twin but you were glad that one of them had his beautiful features.

Knowing you had to raise the twins alone and that they might never meet their father was extremely bittersweet. Being a single mother was something you never anticipated nor did you expect Hoseok to react so harshly to your pregnancy. Even though he was not in your life anymore, you were more than capable of taking care of the twins on your own.
