how intense was that bit?! very likely that was the first time either spoke about what happened in the tent since it happened. imagine how that sounded to jude, or even to connor himself, just having acknowledged out loud that they actually kissed. and not mucking around playing spin the bottle kissing, like the two of them had a genuine moment.

If I have to choose - tent no question. Because it’s a significant moment in their relationship. It’s HUGE. The other not so much. I mean, they’re boyfriends, we know how they feel about each other - “Do you not like me like that?” “I’m supergay for you”. To have it confirmed they make out wasn’t a surprise, wasn’t a big deal, didn’t need to see it. JMO.

Don’t think The Fosters will show either though.

I’d rather have new scenes with them together. They don’t have to be romantic, they def don’t have to be sexual, I just want them interacting and their relationship progressing.

Scenes I would like to see in no particular order:

Jude all happy and excited and hyped up getting ready to see Connor

Connor answering the door and looking super-excited to see Jude with Adam hovering benignly in the background

Connor at the Adams Foster kitchen table being teased by Stef about his football career

Callie telling Connor that Jude has been hell to live with -Jude blushing then owning it - and Connor looking smug as only Connor can

It’s The Fosters so we may get only PAIN but these two have been through enough, they’re stronger together, let Jonnor live! @thewriters

OK this makes so much sense now. Connor being afraid Jude doesn’t like him as much as he likes Jude. I kind of love how wanting to keep his friendship with Jude a secret comes back here to bite both of them in the ass. Connor’s getting a new insight into how confusing and hurtful that whole episode was for Jude. Jude can now understand how painful and difficult things were for Connor when he couldn’t ever be true to himself because he is frightened of his dad.

What I loved about “Get out of my face” was how it showed in a really, really subtle way Connor’s standing with his peers. He jumps to the rescue and dominates effortlessly but only uses his powers for good—to stand up for Jude when he sees how upset he is. Connor is known to be a well-liked kid. People don’t make fun of Jude once Connor has spoken to them.

There’s no homophobia from snapback but Connor is on high alert. He’s always, always there to defend Jude after that first hesitation in 1.05. And he’s not scared of being made fun of himself. He’s ready to take on the world. He told his dad. Nothing can touch him, except the fear that Jude may not like him as much as he likes Jude.

Callie loves Jude more than anything. She never had a problem with Connor. She was just worried and confused because Jude wasn’t talking to her.

“That’s my line.”

“You’re not the only one who gets to use it.”

He told her *first*. He talks to her. They fight now because they are safe, but no one will ever break their bond. Callie loves Connor because he makes Jude happy. And because he’s awesome.
