La Vida Loca | Himchan&Jongup
The breeze brought in the scent of the sea as the waves crashed on the shore line in the distance. He wasn't sure why he had insisted they go there, especially when he was pretty sure Himchan wouldn't be too thrilled about sand getting all over him, but he'd practically begged him until the elder had given in and said yes. Jongup loved the beach, he loved the sand and the water and the clear skies that seemed to gravitate around the beauty of the wharf. The sun sat low on the horizon as they made it to the start of the sand, his hand enclosing around Himchan's as he drug him along with him. With an easy smile on his face he tugged the other male closer, tossing an arm around his waist as he looked up at him, nudging his way under Himchan's arm. "Hyung, thanks for coming with me. I just really wanted to see this place with you."Â It was a whirlwind type of friendship they had, not having known each other for all that long, but Jongup couldn't honestly see himself without Himchan around since they'd met. He squeezed the elder tightly with the one arm, grinning as he snaked out of his hold again, crying over his shoulder while he darted out towards the sea. "Race you to the water!" Clothes were shed along the way, dropped unceremoniously in the eager boy's wake. He wasn't all too sure if Himchan would actually be up for swimming, it wasn't like they'd come prepared. He didn't even have a towel, or swim trunks for that matter, but then those things had never been obstacles for Jongup. He kicked off his shoes and pants right before hitting the water, stampeding into it as if he were freshly branded cattle. Twisting around he laughed as he saw his companion still on the shore. "Come on, the water's great!" He called out, all smiles and sunshine.

Open for plots and those drabbles too.
this is also yongguk's mun so don't be weirded when the answer comes from that accountÂ
The replies I owe should be up soonish, in the next day or two hopefully.Â
OOC;
I don't have many plots going on here, so if you'd like to plot just hit me up.
Also, that event looks fun, though I'm not sure Jongup would be useful enough to even kidnap orz...Â
Messenger Boy || Jongup&Junjin
Being a simple dealer, Jongup didn't have to worry about doing crazy gang related tasks very often, especially being fairly new to the actual gang part of it. When he received an actual assignment, other than unloading so much of whatever drug was shoved into his pockets, he was pretty excited about it. He'd stared down the informant with wide eyes and a grin, that is until he'd actually realized what it was he would be doing. His exciting mission was only to deliver some paperwork. He frowned after he'd been handed the envelop full of paper, scowling lightly at it. Of course the new kid would have to do the bitch work, he should have known better than to get his hopes up on it.
The address had been scrawled onto a post-it note, peeling it off Jongup decided to just get it over with and go about his day. After all, it could have been much worse. It would give him an excuse to use his new toy anyway, which cheered him up exponentially. He'd recently won a motorcycle in a race, but hadn't really had much of a chance to ride it around yet. Stuffing the large envelope in the inside of his jacket, he hopped on the cycle, revving the engine and taking off down the streets of Seoul. Winding through cars, he peeked down at the post-it to check the address before cutting a corner and turning onto the right street. He stared up at the building in momentary awe before making his way inside, asking for the man in question that he was supposed to give the papers to.
The office he was led to, had him gawking around in interest, forgetting his objective for a while as he lost himself in the cracks of the building's walls. The sound of shoes clicking against the smooth floors brought him out of his daze, looking over at who he guessed was the guy he needed to see, bowing instantly. "Mm.. You're Mr. Junjin? I've got something for you, a delivery." He mentioned, standing back up straight with a hopeful smile.

Nitrous Fueled Troublemakers
Zelo likes to think that heâs a careful person; someone who knows what heâs getting into, despite the numerous of dangerous things he ends up participating in without his prior approval.
He smiles a little at Jongup and clucks his tongue cheekily in response, âweâll have to see wonât we hot shot?â Zelo wonders briefly (as he watches the other go through his routine, like all the others that had surrounded them) if he was merely talking to himself.
Standing by the car he slaved an entire afternoon over, Zelo leans against the door and tries not to snort in dismay. âIâm way over my head in this,â he kicks the tire and pulls out a cigarette from his back pocket to ease his mood, âweâre both pretty fucked huh?â Zelo leans his head back blowing out a steady stream of smoke, âwell, letâs rip this place up anyways.â
He slides into the car and backs out of the driveway onto the designated street, third down. Unlike the usual dig, this particular organizer opted for set lengths; determined though lottery, chosen when the racers paid their dues - a handicap of sorts for the group of newbie participants in one of the most well organized drag races available in Seoul. Zelo slows the engine to adjust the strap on his helmet and slides on a pair of thick gloves he had nicked off a drunken man.
It wasnât the first time Zelo had participated in a drag race (back when he was still new enough to be careless, the boy burned away the money Seunghyun showered on him like oil) but it was one of the few times there wasnât medical staff at his beck and call. He straightens his back, tilts the rear-view mirrors and revs the engine in time to the flagger walking up to greet the lineup.
Behind the series of cars, Zelo keeps a steady eye on the mirror, giving each new car a once over in hopes of discovering the dancing puppy from before. It doesnât take him long to spot a vehicle that reminds him of the boy and Zelo smiles behind his visor. Well, well, he picked a bad lot didnât he? The cars around him hummed in anticipation; three rounds, winner takes all.
Zelo flexed his fingers against the wheel in time to the second clock.
Three.
Two.
One.
By the end of the first corner on the last lap, Zeloâs already chasing the tail of Jongupâs vehicle roaring to life in front of him. He curbs the road, taking a detour to meet the car in the middle of the second turn, wheels squealing in protest as he throws the entire car into the turn, hand bracing on the emergency break, willing the car to make the turn without flipping over.Â
He succeeds enough to pass Jongupâs car with a sputter and Zelo accelerates himself past the third turn. A glance out the rear-view mirror shows his bumper being half eaten by the unrelenting car kicking down his tail and he swears up a storm as something shoves into his sideâ
In that split second, Zelo let go of the turn and his luck ran out as the vehicle that popped out of no where from the middle of an alleyway rammed him from the side again.
His vehicle flips onto its front end like a somersault.
It rolls twice forward before crashing down on the side.
Zelo likes to think that heâs a careful person; someone who knows how to take care of himself despite the sting of glass imbedded in his thigh and the metal plate digging into his back is enough to make his eyes bleed red and he swears his fingers arenât trembling.
He manages to lick his lips, wetting the dry skin as he gnaws on the side of his mouth in a desperate attempt keep his vision steady. Zelo shifts his shoulder, ignoring the shot of pain curling up into his spine and pops the edge of the front door open. In a daze, he briefly notes that heâs dripping oil and it didnât take much of a genius to smell the spark of gasoline on rubber.
Zelo manages to not scream when he rips his shoulder and back away from the metal ridges of the car (and heâs bleeding bleeding bleeding and its just not stopping) as he stumbles out of the front seat. Falling on the ground a couple feet away, he rolls his head backwards as the young boy tugs the glass shards out of his leg.
He can sort of hear the car explode behind him.
Zelo says a moment of silent prayer for the engine he crafted and then laughs. He rubs a hand against the grime of dirt and grease and blood wondering if this is what it felt like exactly ten years ago.
He supposed it sucked that much too.
Zelo tossed the helmet on the ground.
He was lucky wasnât he?
Jongup knew he wasn't going to lose, he knew because he wanted it to badly, he was too hungry for it and he wasn't going to starve tonight. As the flag went down and the his car lurched forward, pushing him back into the seat with the sheer force of acceleration, he felt right at home. His heart had leapt into a dead sprint as soon as his car had crossed the starting line, sure he wasn't the first in the staggered lineup but he knew that the beginning of the race was only a small advantage.
He didn't even mind when he was passed up by a few cars, one namely that boy he'd met before. Jongup was more sure than all of that, he knew when to hug the turns and drift off to the edges of the straights. This wasn't his first time doing a course similar to this and that was his private advantage. He knew a little secret, that most drivers tended to hit the NOS too early, using up the boost in the last straight when the best time to hit it was halfway through the very last turn, right before the end of the race. That way it gave just enough of a boost to pull the car out of the turn and force it out the other side, rather than boosting the car through to the turn which would just make it a bit more difficult to steer through anyway.Â
Jongup & Jongjin || Poetic Justice
The thing is, if you wanna pose for junkie, you have to buy drugs, really buy drugs, as often as it is expected from junkie. And of course you canât just flush them down the toilet, no, you have to officially  stock them in the police magazine. What makes a job of undercover a little bit hard. But what matters is that you know whoâs selling what. In the reality arresting dealer wonât help much. There are ten waiting to replace the one arrested. But it is always good to keep tabs on them, and that was Jongjin job most of the time.
Jongjin knew almost all dealers out there, he met them during his ten months of work, so he thought tonight wonât happen anything new. When he asked barman about something stronger then alcohol the man directed him towards the right guy discretely, the Crests ever so polite, it was sometimes hard to believe they were mafia. He just nodded thanks giving him a tip, to stay on his good side, and strutted toward the dealer. The bouncers gave him once over, and let him pass, as by now everyone knew him â a junkie that pays for his shit, which was good enough.
The guy Jongjin was directed to was standing in the corner talking, but Jongjin couldnât see his face, if he did, heâd probably thought twice about the whole thing. As he was blissfully ignorant he tapped his back and said, figeting like the junkie he posed to be âScuse me, barman said you have some meds IâŚâ The guy turned back and familiar face looked at Jongjin, shit, shit, shit, was all he could think of. Last time they met Jongjin was kicking around a few years younger freshman for selling drugs in his highschool, and It seemed like the boy continued with the bad habit. Jongjin wished suddenly he was anywhere but here. What to do now?
Jongup hadn't been affiliated with an actual gang for very long, but since he had picked up the name of a Red Crest business was booming. He was definitely enjoying the life, hitting up Dovetail for free and enjoying the party atmosphere. He wasn't sure why he hadn't joined in earlier, though part of him was glad he hadn't that way he didn't have to hide yet another thing from his parents back when he was living under their roof. The Crests even had their own protection, which was awesome, he didn't have to worry much about angry buyers or people that wanted to cause more trouble than they were worth because they would take care of him. It was like a family already, though he still was very aware of the fact that he was green in their eyes.
Tonight, it didn't really matter though, he was making good rounds already and the night had barely begun. When he got a tap on the shoulder he hardly expected it to be someone he'd dreaded in high school, hardly expected someone so adamant about the dangers of drugs and abuse to fall into the traps of addiction. He stared blankly at first, surprise written clearly over his features, unsure what to say until he finally mustered up the courage to say something. "What are you doing here?" He asked, the thought of this being some sort of trick on him darting through his head. Maybe it was some type of hazing, maybe the Crests were tricking him and brought in Jongjin to kick his ass one more time before they really accepted him fully into the fold. He took a cautionary step back before speaking to him again, just in case.
"I mean.. what's your poison? Are you really into this shit now? After all that back in school...?" He'd been dealing all through highschool, but the fact that now he was even in a gang must not have surprised the other at all. He'd always said he was heading down a bad road, even though Jongup disagreed. He loved his life, even enjoyed his job, though he didn't particularly enjoy the way junkie's looked when they were too strung out or too needy. He really preferred selling to occasional users, or kids just experimenting and having fun, but he'd been told to increase his profits and his clientele. "Whatever you need, I can help though.." He finished off, torn between wanting to make good business and the slight fear that the other would lash out at him just like he used to.
Nitrous Fueled Troublemakers
He was too happy looking, Zelo decided with a small scowl as the smaller boy literally beamed up at him from the crowd. It made a little part of him twist in anticipation; what would he have to do to get him to break down and cry? Zelo licked his lips, finding them a little dry, as he frowned to himself, shaking away the dark thoughts. He wasnât going to ruin someone just for the fun of it⌠Zelo watched as the boy innocently rubbed the sweat away from his brows, lips quirking upward in thought. Then again⌠one more time wouldnât hurt would it?
Watching him squirm his way back towards him like a lost puppy, Zelo couldnât help but snort a little. He ruffled the boyâs hair as a greeting and then smirked leaning down to mouth, âdonât pant like that babyâ in his ear. Pulling away, satisfied with the pinkness in the otherâs cheeks, Zelo shrugged his shoulders languidly, âso what if I was? Are you going to charge me for the show?âÂ
He waited a few seconds, blinking back at him slowly before looking down at his phone in despair. The screen had cracked due his temper earlier but the text message read loud and clear despite the chips. With an audible sigh, Zelo nodded, âyeah. I guess I am.âÂ
The quick assertion surprised him and Zelo immediately lifted his head to stare. After a few seconds of silent appraisal, he snickered a little, pinching the otherâs cheeks, looking horribly amused. âThat was cute but I canât lose. My paycheck depends on this and I didnât slave over that engine all day to not get anything back from the damn bastard.âÂ
Zelo thought for a moment then looked back down at his phone, âalthough I might not mind if I can bring you home instead. I think youâd make a much nicer prize than that stupid looking trophy.â He paused, letting the words sink in before doubling over and laughing. âAish you should have seen the look on your face. Relax baby,â Zelo reached over to ruffle his hair again, âyouâre not my type.âÂ
Remember his manners finally, Zelo stuck out his hand, âMy nameâs Zelo. Forced to be here because my boss is a bastard that likes to take me for granted because I canât say no.â He grinned, âyou donât have to introduce yourself if you donât want to, Iâll just call you baby instead.âÂ
Jongup frowned lightly as the conversation turned. He didn't like being made fun of, not when he was being friendly, not when he was being patronized by someone who was clearly younger than him. His brows furrowed at the exchange, the hint of a blush tinging his cheeks at the the teasing words. "No, I wouldn't charge.. I mean.. well no.." He was at a loss, not something unusual for the man of few words in the first place. Receiving the answer to his question, though in more ways than he was expecting, his small eyes widened in surprise. Sure he'd figured out the guy was cocky just from listening, but he didn't think he would be so bluntly flirting.
He didn't have a chance to say anything, not that he probably would have said much to that in the first place. The laughter that followed, painfully aware that it was directed at him, had him frowning once more. He wasn't his type? What did that even mean? Sure he wasn't the most attractive guy on the planet, but never once had any of the girls at school called him ugly, nor had any of the girl's he'd asked out turned him down. He was pretty sure that the other just needed to see him without his shirt to change his mind, but either way he would definitely make it a point to show him he was wrong about that little statement.
"I think you could probably call me hyung... I mean how old are you? Did you even graduate yet? You're tall but.. you got these little kid cheeks." He smiled again at that, reaching up to pinch them even though he was sure his hand was going to get swatted away before he made it. "My name's Jongup, Moon Jongup. Don't worry, if you forget you'll hear it again when they announce me as the winner. Maybe your paycheck is riding on this, but so is mine. I'm not gonna give it up so easily." He checked his watch again, drawing his arm back before it was dismembered. It was about time, if he wanted to be ready he needed to get back to his car and do a quick check over everything.Â
"Race is gonna start soon, see you at the starting line." He waved and moved off in the direction where he'd parked, quickly starting into his pre-race routine as he reached the tuner. There was something much different about him when he was focused, losing the lost expression and easy going smiles. Everything checked out fine and he started the car, making his way to the straightaway.Â
Nitrous Fueled Troublemakers
The hurried apologies and embarrassed laughter almost made Zelo feel bad for snapping at him so quickly. Whoever the kid was, he was not the reason why Zelo was stuck here (he had his wonderful boss to thank for that) and thus, did not deserve to have the blunt of his anger (whoever decided that poisoning the competition however, does).
Rubbing the back of his neck almost sheepishly, Zelo tried to smile waving it off, âno I just⌠bad news I guess. Look Iâm sorr-â The rest of his apology faded quite quickly when Zeloâs sharp ears caught the afterthought mumbled under the other boyâs breath as his face turned several shades of pink.
A few seconds later, Zelo paled, parting his lips looking absolutely horrified. The dopey smile on the boyâs face didnât make him feel any better as he watched the walking terror dance into the middle of the room to the beat of some obnoxious rap song and really who calls someone who snapped at you and threw his phone on the ground with jeans caked in black grease cute because that was just stupid and wow he was kind of good.
Without even realizing it, Zelo had been following the boyâs movements (his height was a major advantage in times like this) as a semi-circle formed for the dancers in the middle. Mouth dropping in amazement, Zelo licked his lips, scooting a little closer to see what he (the other people) were doing.
The other two males in the middle was probably just as good (maybe even a little better) but like something tugged Zeloâs attention back to him no matter where he looked. In a bout of frustration, Zelo scrunched his nose up and crossed his arms, pouting like a child. Heâs not even that special looking and I bet I can find someone who can dance better than him, whatâs the big deal.Â
Zelo stole another look.
The song was over way too fast, he thought, though his breath was already lost and spent, causing him to pant as his movements slowed to a stop. Sure he wasn't the best, yet, but he would be. He'd make sure of that somehow. His friends had called him a dance prodigy and he honestly hoped that they weren't just saying that to bullshit him. Dancing was his life, beyond the cars around him, beyond the adrenaline rush he was always craving for. An absent wish passed over his conscious thoughts, silently regretful that his parents couldn't understand this view and way of life. With a quick pass of his hand over his face, wiping off any errant beads of sweat that might have formed during his dance the thought was wiped away as well.Â
When his eyes opened up again they met with boy's from before, he couldn't hide his smile as he realized that he had been watching. He slipped through the small crowd easily, making his way back to his side, still panting lightly from the previous efforts to show off. "Hey!" He exclaimed with a smile, bright even though he was at a sort of loss for any other further words. He just stood there and stared back at the boy for a good minute before he thought to say anything else.
"You were watching me.. right?" Ever the one to point out the obvious, he just kept up with his smiley antics, blinking at the look he was receiving in return. He wasn't quite sure now if the other was still annoyed or something else entirely, but he had decided he was nice to look at either way. "Mm.. so are you racing tonight too?" He finally asked a real question, although somewhat shy to start. This part was always a constant inner struggle for him, the part that urged him to be more than just a blank, boring slate. Somehow, he figured the other boy didn't have the same problem, he seemed like he was one to just flow freely with words.Â
Looking over the row of parked and displayed cars near them on either side, he lightened up a bit. What was so bad about conversations? He could easily come up with something to talk about here, he thought, in the midst of others that thrived on the same interests as him. "I'm driving tonight." He mentioned, though it was already obvious by his former question. "So if you were planning on winning, you better pray for some luck." He grinned brighter, teasing the boy a little in his own little cocky way. Despite his smile, he really was sure of himself, and if anything else he had more of a motive to win than most of the other drivers who did this for no more than a hobby. He needed to win, needed the money, needed the prestige. He'd win tonight for sure.

Nitrous Fueled Troublemakers
Zelo spat into the hood of the car, scowling as he rubbed black grease over faded designer jeans. Using his teeth to rip one glove off, Zelo kicked his toolbox out of the way and picked up the screwdriver lying on top of the cooler. He twirled it absentmindedly and bent over again, meticulously craving his trademark signature over one edge of the engine. The shaved metal gathered in a silver pile before a puff of air blew it away as the hood came down with a slam.
âWeâre good to go,â Zelo muttered to himself.
Surveying the empty garage with cold indifference, the boy slid into the leather seat and with a flick of his wrist, revved the engine. The purr was enough to allow Zelo to crack a smile. Despite his irritation at being called in by the boss to fix some racerâs god damn car (as if he was some handy-man and not a world-renowned designer), Zelo was proud of his work. âBastard better win the race,â he grumbled, sliding into gear and turning into the street.
The blaring music of old school hip hop bounced down the road like a greeting as he turned the red race car (tackily designed with cravings of the Crest dragon - as if headquarters wasnât bad enough) into one of the open VIP garages. Stepping out as if he owed the place, Zelo snarled jarringly at the group of whores (to be accurate they were merely lingerie models, but itâs not like Zelo cared about the difference) who seemed to flock to the side of anyone who looked rich enough to sponsor them.Â
The entire idea of street racing genuinely baffled Zelo. What was the point of tearing up the streets in a chunk of metal? One wrong turn would make you look like youâre a member of Splatters-R-Us. Youâd get the same adrenaline rush jumping off an airplane. Then again, he did stupid shit for money too, like for instance, agreeing to fix his engine.Â
Zelo twisted the keys in his hands and stuffed it into his back pocket before pulling out his phone to study the picture of the client. Face properly memorized, he scanned the area looking for someone that fit the bill. An hour of fruitless searching (and footing some god-awful entrance fee to the male with the trucker), Zelo finally punched in a phone number. He gave them two seconds to pick up before beginning to cuss the other end out.Â
The blond paused long enough to breathe before the voices on the end could finally filter through as they mumbled something along the lines of sabotage and food poison and substitutions and Zelo was this close to screaming before, âJunhong, if you donât Iâll rip up your checââÂ
Whatever the threat was, he didnât bother to listen to the rest of it as Zelo chucked his phone at the ground.Â
He was a designer.
Not a handy-man.
Not a street racer.Â
What the fuck did they want from him?Â
The boy drowned one glass of alcohol and ran his fingers through his hair angrily. He glared at some boy who was staring at him in great interest (for almost five minutes as Zelo went about his rant) and snapped irritably, âjust take a damn picture, it lasts longer.â
His attention wavered, darting from place to place as he tried to decide where to go first. He took off in the direction of the music, figuring he could show off some of his dancing skills before the race began. Not wanting to waste the drink, he tossed away his previous concerns, figuring once beer wouldn't be too bad on his reflexes. He drank the rest of it quickly and set down the red plastic cup somewhere easily forgotten.
Before he made it to his destination a figure caught his eyes, someone who must have been fairly close to his own age given the looks of things. He was all legs and arms, and a smile caught his lips as he watched the boy curiously, though the other seemed far from happy. There was a certain clueless-ness about Jongup, who hadn't even realized he was staring rather intently at the other. It took him all of five minutes and a sharp snap from the boy to make the pieces click in his head. His eyes widened and he muttered an, "Oh.." before quickly apologizing and laughing like the idiot he felt he was.Â
"My bad, I just sort of.. zoned out." Nothing unusual for him, but still causing him quite an embarrassment with the opposite looking so ticked off. "I don't know why you're mad, but I hope things get better." He offered in consolation, a soft shrug moving his shoulders beneath the leather jacket resting over them. "You look pretty cute all pissed off, though." He added as an afterthought, the comment muttered under his breathe as his eyes disappeared with a bright smile.Â
"I'm gonna go dance for a while, but I'll see you at the race, yeah?" He asked, his smile flattening into a grin. Taking a quick glance at his wristwatch, he took note of the time and his internal countdown to the race began. Only walking a few more feet, he bobbed his head to the blaring music, finding the beat to some rap song that  could barely be heard beneath the pounding bass. His body took over the rhythm quickly, riding out the beat before moving into sharper and more precise movements, shamelessly showing off his skills as a few people gathered to watch and dance as well.
Nitrous Fueled Troublemakers
As the dark blue and black hues of night swallowed up the last rays of daylight, Jongup made the finishing touches to his engine mods. He wiped the shop towel over both of his grease covered hands and dropped the hood, a grin already smeared on his face. It was race night, and that meant pay day as well as a party that wouldn't end until the sun decided to show itself once more. The thought alone of the night ahead had his blood pumping, and as he moved around to the driver's seat of his car and revved the engine it was ablaze. It only took him half an hour to clean everything up and another half an hour to clean himself up before he was ready to head to the races.Â
The streets were in the process of being closed off when he got there, though with his car there was no mistaking why he came. He wasn't into the flashy headers or graffiti art designs, but he did think a nice flare of color down the sides was a nice touch to his ride. It was just edgy enough to be sexy instead of flashy, and just simple enough to be underestimated on the streets. He liked to keep it that way, though he loved flat out winning there was something about those guys with the overly cocky attitudes that he nearly got off on when knocking them down a peg or two. There were matters to tend to before burning the streets, though, and that was to greet the mecca of his dreams and fantasies. The party that was already thriving in between whips and dubs of all shapes and sizes, music blaring from car stereos and sub woofers bumping from popped trunks.Â
He parked near the middle of the party and swung himself out of his car, grinning from ear to ear at the scene. This was the life, no doubt about it. He absently wondered how many of his old schoolmates would kill to be in his shoes and how many would judge him for his late night activities, but the thought quickly washed away as a group of what must have been lingerie models passed by and he was caught up again in the moment. Shaking his head quickly, Jongup rid himself of the distraction and the thoughts ambling after the girls. Business first. It wasn't hard to figure out who was running the race, and making his way over quickly with a roll of hard cash in his pocket, Jongup was on a mission. It had taken him months to get even a second glance, and weeks after that to get taken seriously as a racer and be entered into even one race that wasn't one on one.Â
Tonight, on the other hand, he'd already made a small name for himself from the last time, and when he handed the thick roll of money to the man that would call the bets he was given a quick nod of approval and marked down on the list. It would still be another hour or more before the actual main event, but he was ready for it now. It took only a moment to get lost in the crowd again and handed a drink, one he'd sip slowly to not deter his skills for later.
