Nitrous Fueled Troublemakers
As the dark blue and black hues of night swallowed up the last rays of daylight, Jongup made the finishing touches to his engine mods. He wiped the shop towel over both of his grease covered hands and dropped the hood, a grin already smeared on his face. It was race night, and that meant pay day as well as a party that wouldn't end until the sun decided to show itself once more. The thought alone of the night ahead had his blood pumping, and as he moved around to the driver's seat of his car and revved the engine it was ablaze. It only took him half an hour to clean everything up and another half an hour to clean himself up before he was ready to head to the races.Â
The streets were in the process of being closed off when he got there, though with his car there was no mistaking why he came. He wasn't into the flashy headers or graffiti art designs, but he did think a nice flare of color down the sides was a nice touch to his ride. It was just edgy enough to be sexy instead of flashy, and just simple enough to be underestimated on the streets. He liked to keep it that way, though he loved flat out winning there was something about those guys with the overly cocky attitudes that he nearly got off on when knocking them down a peg or two. There were matters to tend to before burning the streets, though, and that was to greet the mecca of his dreams and fantasies. The party that was already thriving in between whips and dubs of all shapes and sizes, music blaring from car stereos and sub woofers bumping from popped trunks.Â
He parked near the middle of the party and swung himself out of his car, grinning from ear to ear at the scene. This was the life, no doubt about it. He absently wondered how many of his old schoolmates would kill to be in his shoes and how many would judge him for his late night activities, but the thought quickly washed away as a group of what must have been lingerie models passed by and he was caught up again in the moment. Shaking his head quickly, Jongup rid himself of the distraction and the thoughts ambling after the girls. Business first. It wasn't hard to figure out who was running the race, and making his way over quickly with a roll of hard cash in his pocket, Jongup was on a mission. It had taken him months to get even a second glance, and weeks after that to get taken seriously as a racer and be entered into even one race that wasn't one on one.Â
Tonight, on the other hand, he'd already made a small name for himself from the last time, and when he handed the thick roll of money to the man that would call the bets he was given a quick nod of approval and marked down on the list. It would still be another hour or more before the actual main event, but he was ready for it now. It took only a moment to get lost in the crowd again and handed a drink, one he'd sip slowly to not deter his skills for later. He really couldn't dream what would be much better than this as his eyes flitted over the bodies draped over cars and bent over engines.
