I know I know, I’ve just been busy. I work at the brothel for Madam Flora. Mostly as a bouncer to make sure that all the customers stay respectful, but sometimes I stay late to help clean up. Keeps the rum flowing if I’ve got coin in my pocket.

Well, to be fair, most of the world isn’t too fond of us. The paranoia has probably kept us alive this long. I just figure enough of them are paranoid, I don’t have to be.

Most of the world wishes they had the courage to be us. They all probably dream of what it would be like to be a pirate, but they would never dare step outside the neat little lines society has drawn. But I suppose when we’re being hunted, a little paranoia isn’t a bad thing.

Probably a good idea. Then people can stop assuming they know shit about me and everyone can just leave me be.
