      ❝ I’m afraid I don’t have an answer as to what happened to me Sashi. It’s not something I know on…. If I did know, then I might not even be here standing before you right now. ❞

      He smiled as he carefully patted the other’s back. It was odd to see Musashi change so much. But it was odd the more he thought on it, to the point the smile faded away as he looked around himself again. No, it made no sense now. The other SHOULDN’T be alive at all in this year. So why was it?

      ❝ I think now you need to answer a question I have. ❞ The samurai spoke as he placed his hands on the other’s shoulder to move him back somewhat. Showing the clear confusion on his face now. ❝ How are you even here Sashi? I’m trying to understand that now. ❞

      It’s clear the one before him lived when he apparently died and was forgotten on but…. How did he live this long? ❝ What are you exactly? I knew your family wasn’t really a normal bunch but… ❞

The response was one he more or less expected; whatever had happened had clearly had some kind of urgency to it, so if he was here, time-traveling or not, it wouldn’t have happened yet... That only left him sighing slightly, watching as the smile slid from the other’s face seconds later.

The question that followed was another one he’d been expecting... Jun hadn’t known back then what he really was, and truthfully, neither had he. Hah... no, normal was probably the furthest thing from them, truthfully. Joker knew this all too well... normal people don’t live for half a millennia, after all.

      As confused as he was on everything, he would simply smile once he knew he was right. He remembered the other as a teen quite well, but now before him was an adult of the one he taught the basics on. But now that he paid more attention, the surprise the other had on his face was something else. As if to say that maybe, just maybe… he was right on his thought that he would have never seen the other again.

      ❝ I should hope that I’m really me. ❞ The samurai snorted as he looked to him with a gentle smile.  ❝ I don’t think there’s ever been another demon hunting samurai that had red pupils after all. But then… History no longer knows on me… am I correct on that. ❞ He chuckled as he walked closer, stopping only a few feet from the other now.

      Now having a better look at him, Jun'ichi raised a brow. ❝ I do wonder what you have on your face a bit… ❞ He raised a brow as he had his knuckles rest under his chin. ❝ But I guess a lot really has changed. ❞

     Smiling once more he moved his arms to outstretch. He’ll give him the option on if he would accept the offered hug.

What he had on his face...? His lips pursed slightly, just before he felt the familiarity of the lip ring pressing into his mouth. Oh, right, he hadn’t had piercings when he was little, had he? Sometimes he forgot just how much he ended up changing his appearance to throw his father off.

Not that he regretted any of it, though, he’d actually wanted most of the changes, save for cutting his hair short.

“...No... not really. I’m probably one of the few that still have records on you, and still remember you...” Or even worse, were one of the ones still alive that had known him or known of him. “I was trying to find out what the hell happened to you, have been for centuries...”

“Earned it? The fuck do I look like to ya? A dog?” 

      ❝ That sounds good… anyplace that’s hardly got any other people for now. Though I do feel bad on it too…. don’t really mean to want to get away from people, but I want to save some spoons. ❞

      ❝ I’ll settle for hugs right now but I still want to find a nice quiet place to get to first… ❞ Unfortunately for him, he didn’t even want to be home right now.

“Ya gonna keep starin’ or are ya gonna get your sneaky ass over here?”
