Hi Tumblr its been a little while but I'm back for More Ruina (that's right)
Okay so I don't remember where we were at but I can see we have some abno fights to do, so lets get to them!!
Little Red Riding Hooded Mercenary
This battle is kind of a pain for some, but imo not as bad as queenie. The trick here is that you can't let Little Red die, but you also can't kill the wolf, you need to let Little Red take the kill (you can try to kill red afterwards but thats tricky). Also try to not let Little Red clash or get hit too much, if she goes on a rage she starts doing an aoe attack that hits your librarians too and that's kind of annoying. I'm bringing in Yujin, Kim and Emma.
Scarecrow Searching For Wisdom
Iirc the gimmick of this is clashing Wisdom with Harvest Wisdom, and block/evade against the other enemies to gain more Wisdom. Emma/Yujin are good here because Emma buffs blunt dice, so you'll always win clashes with wisdoma against Harvest Wisdom, and Yujin is the same since she buffs all dice by 1, so 1 Yujin and 2 Emmas or just 2 Emmas works very nicely. A strong evade should also work if you wanna try that.
Pinocchio copies all your pages and scrambles their cost. Every once in a while, it will lie, usually by swapping the dice in the page to different ones (like offensive dice to defensive), then you just play Lying is Bad against it and it gets debuffed. Rinse and repeat until defeated.
Let's keep it rolling and do some receptions, I'm not too busy today.
Let's go back starting from all the way to the left. The other reception on the right is... very long, and I don't wanna do it right now lmao. Let's leave it for later.
The Index is relatively easy, but you have to be careful. They all target a single librarian, but don't try to do the same, as you will most likely lose that battle. Diverge what you can and try to focusing on clasing and wearing them down slowly.
After this reception, we can use Oscar again!!
He's probably a bit better than Salvador by now, and since I haven't used Salvador in a bit, I'm giving Battle Ready to Oscar instead. Most of the Index pages have the caveat of activating their effects only on Singleton decks, which are decks with only unique cards, as in, no two cards are the same.
Skim Prescript is also a pretty decent passive for filling out a last slot, since its basically Battle Ready at half power.
A pretty standart reception, and we should be more than strong enough to complete it. Choose whichever pages and floor you want, and go right in. After this one, we get access to Smoke, which is pretty powerful for dealing more damage and dealing with bosses quickly.
Wang's passive is the best one, and since we only have Smiling Faces for smoke right now, just focus on gaining and inflicting smoke. This is very support character, meant to boost the damage of others.
Next time we'll tackle all of those abno fights, and I think some realizations too? Crying Children will be the last fight ever because I am not looking forward to that at all lmao.
