“I wouldn’t say I survived high school. I only went for two years, if you think about it. But yeah, Juilliard. Shits insane. Everything is insane. Thanks, man.” He grinned. Laughing, he nodded his head. “Alright, I can see that. I’m sure they’re happy to have family around. Anyone else make the move with you guys?” He questioned. “Also, still doesn’t answer my question as to why you’re looking for a CVS.”

“hey, two years is still high school, and you’re still kickin’ it, so i’d say you survived. i think it’s a good insane, though, yeah?” he asked, cocking his eyebrows up slightly. “i’m sure they are too, yeah. quite a few of us, actually, alec came, vivian came, who else? fuck - i’m blanking. i think that’s it.” he laughed, bringing his hand up to his chin, “the kid wants chips and candy, and since i’m being the cool uncle today, i’m gettin’ the kid the chips and candy. though, as you can see, i’m struggling.”

“Well… yeah. Obviously, that’s how we work my dude.”

“i’ll say it again, outrageous. i’m not doing all of it.”

I don’t think both is possible, but that’d be sick if it was. Unpacking is so annoying though. Come be the awesome big brother that you want to be and do it for me. 

“eh, i wouldn’t know. - so now that you won’t do it, it’s my job to? this is outrageous.”

“Someone should take Spotify away from me. I have been listening to my Musical playlist all day and I think I have gotten on my neighbors nerves for belting out every Hamilton song and playing them about twenty times today.” Ricky shrugged, laying back against the couch. “What can I do? The heart wants what it wants, am I right?”

“thankfully i’m not your neighbor, because i would probably be losing my mind.” he joked, laughing softly, “but yeah, man, i guess so.”

I’ve been watching Avatar: The Last Airbender and I can’t figure out what bender I’d be. I’m light on my feet so I thought I’d be an airbender. But the more I think about it I might be a waterbender or maybe not…as you can tell I’d rather do anything than unpack my apartment. 

“can you be both? or like all of the above? i don’t even know, but you should unpack now or you’re just never going to do it.”

Shawn grinned, shaking his head. “I just graduated high school, nothing big. Going to Julliard in the fall though.” He said, the smile growing bigger on his face. Shawn made a face at the older mans older words, one of slight shock. “Y’all got tired of the city, and decided to move to Ohio of all places? That’s… a big move. Even for you two.”

“it’s still a pretty big deal, you survived high school, that’s awesome. - julliard? holy shit, that’s - that’s insane. you’re going to absolutely kill it,” jo noted with a swift nod of his head. the change in shawn’s facial expression’s, caused jonell to let out a laugh, “it’s a big move, yeah, but marc’s got family out here, his niece and nephew, so we knew we’d at least have two familiar faces. made it easier, plus, iris is from here too.”

Shawn bit his lip to keep a laugh from escaping as he watched the gears in Jo’s head turn. It had been a few years since Shawn had met and seen Jo back in the UK, but he didn’t think he changed that much. The laugh he was holding in finally escaped, his eyes crinkling. “Had me thinking you did for a second there man.” He laughed, happily returning the hug. “Yeah, I do. I moved back a few months ago. I’ve been alright, just finished up school. What about you, how are you? And more importantly, why the hell are you in Lima looking for CVS?”

jo’s mind had clearly been elsewhere, or he would have picked up on who shawn was the second they came in contact with one another. once they both pulled away from the embrace, he grinned, looking to the younger male, “that’s awesome, man. - you graduated? holy shit. you’re makin’ me feel old, man.” he noted, letting out a soft chuckle, “marc and i just moved here, actually. - needed a break from the city n’ all that.”

I do have to do shopping for my apartment eventually so that will end up being exhausting but fun 

“ah, well there you go, that’s something to do.”

Guess i’m gonna go watch paint dry, seems like the more fun thing to do.

“that is probably your best option, i haven’t really found much else to do.”

yknow for living on the west coast almost my whole life, coming to land locked state… I’m missing the ocean so much.please tell me there is something  fun to do around here that isn’t watching paint dry or grass grow.

“i’ve been here for a couple days - and all i’ve got for entertainment is watching paint dry and watching grass grow, so i’m not going to be much help.”
