Congratulations to @ellagmurry , Valedictorian, @fcs_raleigh Class of 2022. In her valedictory address Friday 6/3/22, she read a letter to her little brother Henry (8yo) who will graduate in the class of 2032. It was a heartfelt message about serving others and in her conclusion, she asked Henry to come get the letter from her. Her chosen Bible verse was “The joy of the Lord is your strength” Nehemiah‬ ‭8:10‬b The keynote speaker was Chief Justice @justicepaulnewby who encouraged the students from the book of Daniel with the theme from Daniel 1:8a “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself” My mom @jomama1950 was Sheridan High School Alumni valedictorian in 1968. Twenty-seven years later, I was valedictorian at the same high school in 1995. Now, twenty-seven years later, Ella is valedictorian in 2022. I praise the Lord that my wife and I invested in Christian education 13 years ago.
