Would you allow me to buy you a suit?”  “I would not,” Simon said. “What’s wrong with my suits?” Baz looked him up and down. “I wouldn’t know where to start. To be blunt, your sartorial tastes are rather lacking.” “Right,” Simon laughed. “Might I remind you that I’m not a man of leisure? I don’t have the means to dress the way you do, nor would it be practical.” “I could easily change that.” “You know you can’t dress me, Baz,” Simon sighed, shaking his head. “We talked about this.” “But would you let me? If we could?” Simon stared into the bottomless sea of Baz’s eyes for a moment, thinking, before glancing away. “I suppose,” he said. “Clothes have never mattered to me. They’re a necessity, not a pleasure.” “Dressing this body of yours would be a joy and my privilege, my sweet.” Baz’s smile was cat-like. His voice soft and lush as velvet.  Simon grinned and leaned as close as their hats allowed, whispering in his ear, “And undressing yours would be mine.”
