i guess they're kinda similar? the cybernetics on his head interface with the visor which help with the whole expression/emotions stuff. but it probably has some secondary functions as well, including a HUD (also god i forgot about watch dogs, thanks for reminding me)

pretty happy with this one (i even rendered it 🤯) i think the augmentations came out decent enough, wasn't sure where to go with them but w/e. also i had no clue how to make him look like he had cataracts. like, his eyes are already just white and black so i made them kinda cloudy but now it looks like he has cool glowing eyes. roll with it, i guess. i also gave him some muscle tho which is well deserved (lean men are 😋)

nope, i probably won't draw any in the future either fwiw. i just never had much of an interest in GL

sure thing. i don't really think that deeply about my character's backstories and what not (that's why none of my OCs even have names) but me and some pals brainstormed some basic stuff about them. the gist is, they're both EECS college students that really clicked well together. they'd hang out a ton, help each other with studies, goof off, play games together, et cetera. eventually it developed into a nice, fluffy romantic relationship post-college they'd get a job at the same location. what the job actually is— i have no idea. the first drawing i ever made of them was based off of space station 13, that's why they're wearing yellow jumpsuits like how the engineers do in that game. obviously i didn't really think much about the "why" back then because i didn't think i'd draw that much of them. i guess i sorta imagine them working onboard some sci-fi tech installation, but i haven't really bothered world building all that much. anyhow, a bit on the why; he gets some severe injuries saving his bf from a fatal work accident, suffering nerve death in his right arm and sensory issues in his head (electrical cataracts and what not). so the cybernetics are there to alleviate the injuries, a robotic arm to replace his dead one and the visor to help with the sensory problems. the visor would be removable but he would have terrible senses without it. it's something he mostly just does in private with his bf, or when he needs to eat or drink.

call it a change of plans i guess, idk. i've fallen too far into the anthro guy pit (something i did not expect to happen weirdly enough)

kinda rushed this one out but who cares side-tangent: anyone else annoyed when people draw anthros without boots? big pet peeve of mine
