Johnny Depp and his camp have only released the one official statement that has now been read by half the globe; āGiven the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life. Hopefully, the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly.ā Throughout the past weeks though Amber Heard and her camp have gone headline crazy with accusations, stories, so called evidence and deranged off the wall accounts of a person that no one would recognize as the Johnny Depp that anyone knows. So the question hangs in the air, why do Johnny and his people continue to let the internet and publications throw around all this dirt and stay quiet? The answer is simple, āGive her enough rope and sheāll hang herself.ā The one thing that can be said no matter how much is true on Amberās fairytale of the past two years is that she reached above her head and climbed up the ladder. An actress who had no great prospects before her film with Johnny, āRum Diaryā. No matter how stunning she may be, Los Angeles is filled with beautiful women who want to be famous. The chance to be the center of THE Johnny Deppās attention for any amount of time gave her the cracked door that any woman dreams of. This was her chance and she knew it. āWith a little bit of faith, trust and pixie dustā she hit the jackpot. Her intentions are hidden to us and so all her forethought planning canāt be known. The only thing we CAN know is that unfortunately for Amber there is a little invention called the internet. The internet, a place where our past canāt be hidden and neither can a personās life on social media. So while Johnny goes into his self-healing regrouping with his circle of friends, he leaves Amber and her minions to slowly peel off the layers of her life and her imaginary ānightmareā of being Mrs. Depp. Every day she, her friends and her camp embarrass her more and more all over the public realm. Johnny stays silent while his friends, family and employees speak volumes for him. It may be because sheās new to the public eye and Johnny is a seasoned famous figure who has been known worldwide half his life or sheās just the mentally unstable female. It could be said that inexperience caused a rookie mistake on her part. There have been theories about her stalking Johnny when she was young and even if that isnāt true, one has to wonder if she wasnāt paying attention at all during her time with him. Did she not notice his huge fan base or his lifetime circle of supporters and friends? Was she oblivious to his esteemed reputation? Of course she was, which is why she tried to pull him away from anyone close to him and why she stayed so close to him while he was working. The ingenuity ended there however; Amber must not have thought far enough ahead to realize what she was dealing with throwing out such outlandish allegations. Doctored photos and heat of the moment screaming into a phone doesnāt paint a full picture of a personās demeanor. The brushstroke of guile doesnāt equal a masterpiece of art. Mid-life crises or not, an infallible point of time unfortunately has befallen this great gift of talent and it will pass. He isnāt scared or stupid; he isnāt depressed or intimidated trust that. Johnny is sagacious and shrewd. He folds his arms quietly and sits back to watch the train wreck. Just like the traffic on the 101, everyone will slow down to gape and stare while at the same time wishing they could just unsee it and look away. The rope goes thicker and longer and steps can now be heard leading up to the hangmanās noose, not unlike in āPirates of the Caribbean.ā Since this is the REAL world and not the movie set, there will be no dashing pirates launching a last minute escape here for Amber Heard.

Happy Birthday, Johnny!!!Ā
iO Tillett Wright weighs in on Amber Heard and Johnny Depp.
I called 911 because she never would. Because every time it happened, her first thought was about protecting him. Because every time it happened, the sweet, loving man we all cared for so much would come back with apologies, profuse, swearing up and down that he understood how bad what he had done was, and swearing never to do it again. We all loved him, but especially, especially her, and she wanted to believe that the behavior wasnāt going to last. The reports of violence started with a kick on a private plane, then it was shoves and the occasional punch, until finally, in December, she described an all-out assault and she woke up with her pillow covered in blood. I know this because I went to their house. I saw the pillow with my own eyes. I saw the busted lip and the clumps of hair on the floor. I got the phone call immediately after it happened, her screaming and crying, a stoic woman reduced to sobs. I understood her heartbreak. He had been my friend, too, a person I loved very much. A person I had once referred to as a brother. A person with whom I had laughed at the absurdity of the media and their spicy claims about my role in their family. A person who came to my rescue in my darkest hour, who I have credited with saving my own life, who I lived with for a year by his invitation while I healed and worked. I knew him to be soft and gentle, with a temper and a dark side, but a golden heart. I didnāt want to believe it either, until I saw the wreckage. When you call someone your brother, you also commit to calling them out when they are wrong. As she, shaking and crying, described this 195-pound man throwing the full weight of his body into head-butting his 120-pound wife in the face in a fit of rage, I found that an unforgivable line in my heart had been crossed. I witnessed firsthand the absolutely baffling mental pretzel that an abused person puts themselves into, trying to balance the desire to protect their aggressor, with the knowledge that their swollen face is unacceptable. I listened as she cycled through things she couldāve possibly done to provoke him, or how she couldāve made him upset enough to do this.
I sat and listened, my own heart aching because I had so much care for the tender, generous man inside of all this rage, and yetā¦the bottom, unequivocal line is, nothing she ever could have said or done deserves what she describes as him dragging her up the stairs by the hair, punching her in the back of the head, choking her until she almost passed out, and smashing his forehead into her nose until it almost broke. We say domestic violence is bad, we condemn it. But as a culture, we create the most fertile breeding ground for it to thrive. The cycle of abuse is perpetuated by every person who asserts that the victim more likely punched themselves rather than addressing the very real evidence of violence in front of them. The culture of victim-blaming is the very thing that protects abusersā ability to get away with this kind of behavior. Right now, every battered woman in the world is watching this media circus, internalizing the message that when they come forward for help, when they break the cycle, they will be called a gold digger, a cheater, and be accused of having faked it all for attention. Iām looking at every journalist, every editor, every person who puts a comment on an article pointing an uneducated finger. You are the lynch mob. You are a deafening chorus. Your searching for an explanation for why he would have hit her sends the clear message that there CAN be a reason why someone hits their spouse. It doesnāt matter what was said between the two lovers, it doesnāt matter if the romance was coming to an end, because nothing warrants that response. No person, ever, should suffer violence at the hands of the person they love. I watched a woman with a broken spirit go on national television the next night, covered in makeup, smiling through a bloody lip, who nearly jumped out of her seat when someone casually put a hand on her shoulder because she didnāt know what was coming. Thatās why, when it happened again, when I was on the phone with both of them and heard it drop, heard him say, āWhat if I pulled your hair back?ā and her scream for my help, I wondered like so many times before if I should break the code of silence that surrounds celebrities and invite the police into the situation, and in a split second decided that, yes, I was going to. Because I realized that as long as I was protecting the abuser from consequences, I was enabling the abuse and I could no longer partake. I had to stand up for my friend, and for what I believe in my gut to be the code of conduct by which human beings have to behave with each other. Whether we loved him or not has nothing to do with it. When it comes to violence, āloveā is no longer part of the equation. Ā

Tusk (2014) - Kevin Smith
5 bullets on this film:
This is probably one of the MOST ABSURD films Iāve ever seen. Ā And Iām not even sure if thatās a bad thing. Iām not gonna tell you much about the plot because I think itās better if you watch it without knowing anything about it, but trust me, itās weird and disturbing. I donāt know what Kevin Smith is high on, but get me two of them.
Iām a dialogue lover, but this film has a horrible amount of dialogues and they are not well wirtten. Some scenes just donāt make sense and the ending confused me.Ā
Itās supposed to be a comedy/horror film but I didnāt laugh and it didnāt scare me. I would say itās slighly disturbingly funny. I wouldnāt say itās a loss of time, but, you know, watch it with no expectations.
I donāt like Justin Long because of his hair (yes, that is the only reason I donāt like Justin Long: his hair bothers me, Iām sorry) but he was actually really good in this. I hadnāt seen Haley Joel Osment in a really long time, but hey, heās back!! Johnny Depp also has a minor role in this film.
If youāre Canadian you will probably get annoyed by this movie because it basically makes fun of your country. Sorry.
