It’s been a while since I’ve made any sort of posts on social media. I just want to be honest, and the truth is that I’ve been finding it incredibly difficult to be motivated to pursue my artistic endeavours at the current moment. I cannot tell you why I feel this way, but what I can say is that I might be taking some more time to figure myself out. I want to put my art aside for a moment to figure out what I want out of my human experience. You might see me every now and then, but as of today I will be taking some time away from all of this. So I’ve been going pretty hard in terms of releasing new music this year. It’s been a goal of mine to release music that I feel expresses me and my soul in the most honest way possible, and this upcoming single is no exception. On July 1st, I’m debuting my latest project “The Pottery Lighthouse” everywhere you stream music. This music is what I create when I pick up my guitar. This music takes inspiration from black American musicians, American folk music, sophisticated 12 TET harmony, and chillhop music.
