Pennywise Appears in Full Costume for It Remake

My First 15 Hours of No Man’s Sky

No Man’s Sky is easily my most anticipated game since it was announced a couple of years ago. A procedurally generated universe (yes, not world, universe!) where you go and explore planets, travel through the universe and -supposedly- get to meet other people once every few months.

In a recent PlayStation Blog post, Nico Orru of SIE Immersive Technology Group announced Driveclub VR, which is a new Driveclub title focused on virtual reality. (Original Driveclub developer Evolution Studios closed earlier this year) It is important to note that Driveclub VR is not simply Driveclub with added virtual reality support: it is a new game, but it features some overlapping content.

For example, some tracks from the original Driveclub will be used in Driveclub VR, according to Orru. But, new tracks are being developed as well, including five new Urban routes. The game will feature both single-player and online multiplayer modes, both in virtual reality.

Inspection Mode will allow players to get close to the game’s cars and get a good look at them in VR. Cruise Mode will allow players to “just coast and explore any track, in any country at your leisure.” Finally, Passenger mode will let players relive race replays “from a unique viewpoint,” which may very well be the passenger seat.

No other information, such as a vehicle or track list, was revealed about Driveclub VR within the post. But the game will be playable at Gamescom this week. As a result, more information will likely come in the next few days.

Along with the trailer, we now know that Zoe Kravitz has been cast in a small role for the first Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie, with the capacity to become rather big in the sequel, which will be helmed by David Yates and coming in 2018.

Eccentric magizoologist Newt Scamander (Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne) comes to New York (for a reason we won’t disclose) with his trusty weathered case. This case is one of those way-way-way-bigger-on-the-inside magical devices, and within are expansive habitats for a collection of rare and endangered magical creatures from Newt’s travels around globe. He discovers the American wizarding community is fearfully hiding from Muggles (who are called “No-Maj” in the States, more on that here) and the threat of public exposure is an even graver concern than in the UK (remember the Salem witch trials?). Fantastic Beasts is the story of what happens when this uniquely skilled English wizard travels to wiz-phobic America and a variety of his creatures, some quite dangerous … get out of their case.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Colin Farrell, Jenn Murray, Jon Voight, Carmen Ejogo, Gemma Chan and newcomer Faith Wood-Blagrove, and is set to premiere on November 18, 2016.

Don’t Breathe is produced by Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert for Ghost House Pictures, directed by Fede Alvarez who co-wrote it alongside Rodo Sayagues, with J.R. Young, Nathan Kahane, Joe Drake and Erin Westerman as executive producers, and stars Jane Levy, Daniel Zovatto, Stephen Lang, and Dylan Minnette. The film will premiere on August 26.

1. Rory Gilmore is Teaching a Class

Featuring one image from the new mini-series, we can clearly see Rory Gilmore herself teaching a class on “Motifs of Jane Eyre”. Based on the plaid blue skirts in the background and the gray sweaters it’s clear Rory is showing up at her alma mater, Chilton Preparatory School. Fans might remember that this is the private school Rory attends instead of Stars Hollow High. By attending Chilton Rory was able to attain her dreams of going to Yale.

2. Emily Gilmore Still Moves her Liquor

The famous and legendary house-wife Emily Gilmore is still quite the fan of her expensive liquor. Numerous times in the original series of Gilmore Girls did we see Richard and Emily Gilmore offer their countless guests some hard drinks. Throughout the series we’ve seen a few jokes of this habit.

3. Lorelai and Luke are Still an Item

In the Gilmore Girls revival, a Year in the Life, we can all send our praise to Netflix that Luke and Lorelai are still an item in Stars Hollow! All original series fans can remember the tormented relationship of off-and-on again Lorelai and Luke, and how it tore our hearts out. We all waited for Lorelai to get her act together and for Luke to man up – and we can hope now they’re on the same page.

4. Stars Hollow Still Hosts Musicals

Babette and Miss Patty are at their high-jinks again with the Stars Hollow musical. Throughout the years we’ve seen Stars Hollow put on numerous shows including the famous Kirk. Not much as changed in Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.

5. The Gilmore Ladies Still Have Quite the Appetite

We’ve always known that Lorelai and Rory Gilmore had an appetite for junk food, and nothing seems to have changed. From empty Chinese food containers, to the box of Poptarts on the table, the ladies are still the same in pigging out.

6. Town Meetings Are Still a Thing (UGH)

The famous and annoying Stars Hollow town meetings are still a thing in Netflix’s Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. In true Stars Hollow fashion, we can say that Taylor Doose will be making his return as hopefully the mayor. We just couldn’t live without him angering Luke.

  With the upcoming Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life brought by Warner Bros. and Netflix, we can hope to find more life lessons that Lorelai Gilmore taught us. We’re so excited for this mini-series, and we’ll be covering it all the way.
