The dates for the event are 6th-9th of December, 2024 . In the weeks leading up to it, we will post and reblog things featuring our happy couple!

People talk about the friendship between Roger with Brian. Or Deaky with Freddie. Or Roger with Freddie. Even they talk about Deaky and Brian. But…why people barely mention Deaky’s and Roger’s friendship? I know that everyone had a special bond with everyone, but let me be honest with you guys.

Deaky was Roger’s soulmate and Roger was Deaky’s soulmate. Both being Leo in the band, and also being the youngest, they had a lot in common. It was not common seeing Deaky smiling. Or laughing. But everytime he was with Deaky, BAM. A huge smile (with those wrinkles) appeared on his cute face. And who was responsible for that? …Roger.

Deaky was able to be himself around Roger.

Roger was so kind and playful along with Deaky. Like brothers. And when the Freddie Mercury tribute Concert happened in 1991…guess who was with Roger? Right up there? Deaky. He felt safe with him. He didn’t want to be around unknown people. I believe that he knew who all of those artists were, but they were not his “family”, his “brothers”, his “friends”.

And Roger was confident, but serious. Yet Deaky knew that with him, he was not alone.
