OK !! To start this off i want to say all of these characters are very very new. I started writing this whole college OC world just over a week ago.
The original idea was to draw a little dude to accompany me while i study. I like doodling i like studying so i might as well merge the two. Then i had the wonderful idea to make a separate OC for different college majors ((I was originally going to just have Peter a Quantum Mechanics major because thats my favourite area to mess around in)) So i drew up the idea for eleven OC's with different majors in different fields. This would "force" me to study different areas which i know i would enjoy, and it would help me with my "having no OC's" issue.
They all attend the same college. I don't know the name yet but it'll probably be something like "Hairrison University" or another forgettable name. This fictitious college is supposed to be a really well regarded college in most all subjects, a real jack of all trades. And the campus all of my goobers would stay at is probably in the NY-NJ-PA tristate area.
Peter Adrian Brout: Peter is the most polished OC here. He's the only one that i consider to be fully fully finished at this point in time. He's my Quantum Mechanics major. He's only starting his PHD or i would have him specialize in String Theory. He's 23, very tall 6'4". Birthday is January 8th 2003. He listens to death metal and jazz, he only really listens to death metal when hes studying. It keeps his head quiet. He wears almost exclusively brown or creme coloured cloths. Not because he really knows fashion. He just knows that if he sticks to a general palette he looks much more put together. He's incredibly aroace but since he's not WOKE he doesn't know it just assumes he's straight and hasn't found the one. Peter plays a bit of piano in his free time but since he graduated highschool, and left his hometown he hasn't had the time nor resources to practice. Taaaalking about his hometown: Peter was born in western Texas into a very small town. He was a pretty quiet kid to most. Home life wasn't great. His father was either absent or abusive, i haven't decided. So Peter liked to take walks after school. He did this so often that he grew bored of the scenery. So he ventured inside of the small library, and picked up a book. It was fiction, maybe a comic, something that would catch a nine year olds eye. But it was incredible to him. He could let his mind wander into a dark forest or frolic through a vapid field constructed of these strings of text he adored. All without leaving the safety of the library. So instead of taking his usual walks he would stay at the library. After a year or two he had read all of the fiction books. So Peter moved on to more complex literature. Around this time his sister killed herself. This obviously left his mother and himself devastated. The day he was told of her death, he didn't sleep. He just lay there in bed staring at the ceiling. After that life wasn't really the same. He started learning he had to be the provider. Peter knew that his mother liked when he got good grades so he started studying more. Not for fun but because he felt like he needed to. Pretty soon he was getting ready to go off to college. Law seemed like a good choice, in nothing much more than how much it makes a year. So he left and after one year in law school a professor sat him down, and asked if this was really what he wanted to do. The answer was no. Peter dropped out and spent a gap year at home trying to find what he wanted to do in life. He went back to that library and picked up "A brief history of time" by Steven Hawking. Which was eventually the reason he went back to quantum physics. Peter then went back his bachelors in some other college, a major in both Mathematics and Physics. Then he got an offer to transfer to Hairrison University. So he started his PHD in Quantum Mechanics at Hairrison, and moved into a dorm with Miko.
Ashley "Ash" Strickland: Ash is my Neuroscience major. 25 born on 2001 July 22nd or 23rd, since she was born around midnight, generally she says she was born on 22nd but her birth certificate says the 23rd((This is 100% unnecessary but it means something and i love putting unnecessary detail into small things, i do this with like all the birthdays names and such feel free to look into it deeper than seems appropriate)). She's pretty average height maybe a little short, 5'6". She has long straight black hair. Its often a bit frizzy or uncombed. She has persistent eyebags. She generally wears a grey green colour scheme desaturated, and often dark. Other than that she often dons her lab coat. She's pretty screen addicted. Scrolling very often. Bed rotting on weekends. She's either bi or lesbian. I'm not stone solid on that but i cant really imagine her being straight. Ash loves hyperpop. I don't have a background for her sadly but i imagine she grew up maybe in a small nyc apartment. And was pressured by her family to be a doctor.
Miko, i don't have a full name for him yet but i have a pretty good idea about how he looks. Miko is my art major he's 23, 5'4" a dark blue colour scheme to contrast Peter's. He's on his last year of getting his bachelors in Fine Arts.
Thats all the characters that have a name,,,, i have more ideas, but theyre just fleeting thoughts. The last few majors i have to get through are:
