I finally, FINALLY updated my Twitch emotes! I did like my old emotes, but they were kinda hard to read on phones. The Autumn People in Winter: Snow Day, Bursting with Fun, and A New Friend

Told ya I'd have more Autumn People! This winter series started off as just more visual development- I really wanted to get a handle on how I would render winter scenes with a limited warm-tone palette- but I fell in love with my sketches and decided to make a mini-series. 

I love how they turned out! That said, my favorite is the last one: A New Friend. One of my biggest inspirations for these winter scenes- and the Autumn People in general, to be honest- is Calvin & Hobbes. I feel like A New Friend lets that influence shine through without being derivative, and just really captures the magic of experiencing winter as a kid.

I wanted to share some of the vis dev work I've done with the Autumn People and their world! I took a lot of inspiration from fairy houses made out of old tree stumps, DIY fairy house furniture, Maurice Noble's background paintings, Calvin & Hobbes, and a lil bit of Gilded Age furniture. More to come in the future!

Furrever Friends

Another print series I kinda posted about before, but here it is officially: Furrever Friends!

This was NOT supposed to be a series. This was supposed to be quick little warm-up sketches of pastel ghosts. But then I put a cat on top of the reading ghost's head. And then I added more cats. And then I ended up refining four of my sketches into final pieces and WHOOPS, suddenly I have a new print series. But I'm glad I finished them, because they turned out ADORABLE! The Autumn People I kinda posted four of these already, but here's the official post for my newest series: The Autumn People!

Inspired by old Ray Bradbury book covers, The Autumn people started as self-indulgent sketches streamed on Twitch and rapidly turned into a full-fledged series. And I'm not done! Hi everyone! It's been a while. I had a ton of client work this year it was allll under NDA. But LA Comic Con is this week, and I'm bringing two new print series!

The first is Autumn People, featuring cute pumpkin folk in a world of perpetual fall. The second is Furrever Friends, featuring little pastel ghosts and their cat friends. I'm so happy with how they turned out, given they were last minute additions!

Both series- and all of my work- will be available at LA Comic Con Sept 26-28 at Table L11 in Kentia Hall. They had to move both Artist Alley and the signing tables due to renovations at the Convention Center, so keep that in mind.

If you can't make the show, both print series will be available online in early October. See you soon! ---

Spectral Sweethearts 1.5 inch Enamel Pins

My newest pins are FINALLY HERE! Based on one of the couples from my Ghostly Love fabric design, Spectral Sweethearts is a 1.5 inch pin featuring two cute ghosts cuddling under a star-filled heart. It's one of my favorite projects I have ever done, and you can get them here on Gumroad for $10 USD + shipping.

Full transparency, I finished them in early January. But then my city caught on fire, and it felt... weird to announce a product release when my friends, family, and neighbors were losing everything. To be completely honest, it still feels weird. So, I'm also going to use this announcement to highlight some local California groups who are doing a world of good and could use some help:
