Also, as a lefty IRL, I am tickled that the written letters are meant to be written by a lefty, going right to left, in bygone times, and the left-to-right method is more recent era in Eorzea.

You know, for a character who originally started off as just a whore, he’s probably my one character who has undergone more development than any other.

Lemont/Alphonse started off as just an elf boy looking for men to have a good time with, but then through RPs with @kaydenmoshantu-xiv he became a former dragoon of Hose Dzemael. While he was still a little promiscuous it wasn’t so blatant, and he ended up abandoning his home due to frustrations with the gap in society. He also wished to live instead of being killed by the Dravanian Horde, so he staged his own death and fled the Holy See.

Then after living in Ul’dah for years, and inadvertently hurting someone he cared about, he decided it was time to stop running and confront his past, picking up his spear once again and training to return to Ishgard to protect his homeland and inspire real change. The Warrior of Light brought about change alongside Ser Aymeric but that’s not important.

He’s come a long way from being just a smut side character to having beliefs and doubts, fears and dreams. It’s kind of cool to realize how all this just sort of happened naturally when I had no intent on making him more than his original idea.
