So, a quick aside from the adventures of Nameless Higanbana

I have a bit of an issue with collecting characters in MMO's, and GW2 is no exception. I think I mentioned that Nameless is my sixth Sylvari. In truth, I have a total of nine character slots on GW2, and all of them are in use. I did end up deleting two of my previous characters (a lvl 7 norn necromancer and a human revenant), one of whom was used for Nameless. The other...

Well, like I said, I basically have only ever played Sylvari, with the one exception being Brigid Anwnn, my human Paladin (sorry, Guardian). I figured hey, why not give one of the other races a go? Say hello to my big fluffy kitty, Zaya Moonshadow!

I decided to give the Charr a go after futzing around in the character creator and finally making a look that I liked. I actually ended up deleting her five levels in and remaking her, as her original look was white and gold, but I decided that this black and gold look suited her status as a thief a bit better.

Now, I mentioned I have a total of nine characters, and with six Sylvari, one human paladin (sorry, guardian) and Zaya, that does in fact leave one over. Meet Robert Agni.

Robert was one of my earlier characters, I think he's been around for a good 8-9 years, and I really didn't want to delete him. The problem is, I also really don't play him, either. I already have my main Elementalist, Acer Maple, and his look is a bit... basic for my tastes now. He was originally based on a comic character that I made several years ago, and his look was kiiiiiiinda based on a guy I had a little crush on at the time. As an MMO character, however, he's a little plain - I prefer to play characters that look a bit more fantastical. I was contemplating sucking it up and just getting rid of him, but then I remembered I have a full transformation kit in my bank...

Say hello to... well, I don't know, she doesn't have a name yet lol. I was playing around in the character creator, as one does, and realized they'd added a few more diverse options when it comes to creating black and asian characters, which is really cool! I played around with the skin tones, and I really like this one - it has a kind of... blue freckly look across the shoulders that made her look a bit like a mermaid (as such, that is my headcannon for her - she's a mermaid, look, I have evidence, don't question me!)

The thing is, she can't just be running around with the name Robert Agni! I'm going to save up for a name switch, and in the meantime, I'll have to think of something cool and aquatic themed to name her. I'm thinking something french?
