I am around, though I no-longer roleplay. I do hang on to my account in hopes that I'll feel inspired to write again, because I really do love the character, lore, and past writing I did.

My personal went to password protected because of some other, serious issues with another person on tumblr, but I am okay! (:

Maybe one day I'll be back around to pick up where I left off, and I keep track of things here because I hope for the inspiration and fun to come back.

Grabbing a hold the creature flying around his head, Jin grinned wide. He recognized it straight away.

The winds were quiet. They hadn't spoken in ages, and it was starting to take a toll on him. Whenever he'd ask it, the breeze would return a whistle to his ears; one containing the answers he'd sought. It was always there, always waiting for Jin's voice. Now was different. Something had changed since the time he'd arrived. He knew it could be harsh; even a master was never truly a master over nature. However, it never dared give a response. Not with an ask, a plead, or a beg... Of course, they never stopped. She never stopped. You can't stop gales. The worlds are always moving, always making wind. "Can' stop 'em," he whispered. The voice bounced off the granite, rubbing it raw with its power. It was deafening in the cave, despite being no more than an utterance. The words wrapped around walls and shot But why had it forsaken him? He'd left the human world a long while ago. There was nothing there for him anymore. Koto had gone. Chu wandered into the Makai and hadn't returned since. Genkai was so caught up in training new demons that she couldn't be bothered with him. Even Rinku, who spent every free moment torturing him, seemed to be absent. And Urameshi... He was so caught up in being human again that the windmaster had no place. It was funny, really, that he'd ever consider staying in the Ningenkai. A mistake he wouldn't make again. Humans were the reason the barrier went up, and to him, it should have stayed that way. However, he still missed it. Missed them.

It was faint, but unmistakable. It was a voice known to him for more than five hundred years. It's back. He scrambled to his feet, claws dragging in the dirt, scraping across disjointed pebbles and sand. The man's knees dug into whatever sharp atrocities lay scattered in the dark as he clamored for the light at the end of the tunnel. At that moment, he was more animal than rational, more demon than man. Hair strung in his face, blinding him more than the midnight of the cave.

On all fours, he bound towards the opening, ready to greet the wind with a good ol' cry and slap on the back. Instead, he'd been given a sight he wasn't expecting. Squinting into the light, the man finally stood erect. No more than a hundred yards looked to be another creature. It too, stood on two legs - but with no discernible features other than a shadow to mark it. It called him, after all that time, for this?

Throat rusty from lack of use - from whispers only to himself, Jin attempted to call. It was hoarse, but still audible over the ungodly silence.
