Ninja King of the Pirates

Y'know, I'm honestly curious. We have all these delusional tech companies forcing GenAI down our throats and opting us in for AI features nobody asked for and the vast majority of people hate with a reasonably blinding passion. If just killing the people making these decisions is too extreme a solution, how likely is it to just sue them into the ground? The People vs NVIDIA, for example? The People vs Twitch? The People vs Amazon? The People vs Twitter? I don't know exactly how the law works in the case of lawsuits for the public interest, but that won't stop me from asking. These companies and the people in charge should have their vast wealth redistributed among the people and stripped down to the point where they only do what they're supposed to do rather than exploit us for their shareholders' benefit. The people forcing all of our content into the Plagiarism Machine should burn in hell before they die, is what I'm saying.

I came back from vacation thinking I was horribly sunburnt, but it ended up not nearly as bad as I thought. Only part bad enough to peel is my shoulder, and my arms got noticeably tan! And thanks to sleeveless shirts, it's not a farmer's tan! Just wish my chest had gotten some of that color, though, but I'll take what I can get.

My dentist appointment today was a lot less torturous than expected, and after the initial exam I was informed that "if this is all we're seeing and it's been 10 years since you last saw a dentist, you've been taking very good care of your teeth!" The reassurance was ABSOLUTELY necessary for my current mental state, and I walked out feeling good!

After an entire week off, I have work tomorrow. A half day due to a dentist appointment, but still gotta get up early. I'm going to sleep horribly, aren't I? At least it was an objectively good week!

My internet connection has been noticeably shitty all day, and I really wish I knew why. I've had speedtest.net open all day and testing whenever it feels off, and it's been fluctuating a lot. I really hope my ISP gets its shit together, this is ridiculous!

Last night I had a horrible time falling asleep, pretty sure I didn't catch a wink before 4am. The comfort of my bed overwhelmed me compared to the twin I had slept on most of the week at the beach house and I was wracked by the threat of nightmares. I've been able to stave off the effects of this depressive episode for the most part, but if this wasn't proof that it hasn't ended yet I don't know what is. Here's hoping tonight is better!
