Lookbook #1 - 3/14/2014

This total look is something I'd want to wear for a casual date night. Today is White day in Korea which is something really similar to Valentines day but nonetheless it's a night filled with so much love and laughter in the air. I hope you find this post helpful! :D

오늘은 화이트데이! 나와는 아무상관 없는 데이. 그렇다고 데이트가 있었다면 뭐입었을까 상상하지 말라는 법은 없으니까. 오늘은 왠지 캐주얼하면서도 쉬크한. 드레스만 따로 보면 Girly할법도 하지만. 난 Girly와는 거리가 먼 관계상^^ 롱가디건이나 모터자켓을 입고 앵클부츠를 신어주면서 toughen up! 톤들이 어쩜 심심할 수도 있으니 내가 제일 좋아하는 cobalt blue가방까지. 마음만은 풍족한 오늘. 모두 화이팅!

My Summer in California...

It feels so surreal to even think about how long it has already been since I moved back to Korea.

These are some of my photos taken during my stay in California just before I left. Looking back at these pictures makes me want to go back to Cali so bad! Agh! Why us human being can never appreciate the moment when we have it? That might be the question of the night! Haha!

벌써 한국에 온지도 6개월차. 

그동안 시간이 어떻게 지나간지 모르겠다. 병원다니고, 여행다녀오고, 서울로 이사했더니 벌써 반년이란 시간이 훌쩍. 이 블로그 거의 1년전에 대박블로거가 되리라 큰소리 치고 몇일몇밤 새워가며 만든건데 이제서야 뭔가 끄적여 본다. 난 정말 하고싶다고 저지르는건 많은데 막상 꾸준히 해나가지는 못하는 것 같아서 싫다. 하지만! 바뀌려고 노력하는 자세가 더 중요 한 거니깐.

요즘엔 잡생각이 많다. 켈리에서 여행하며 찍은 사진들 보니 다시 돌아가고 싶다. 하하. 그치만 난 목표가 있으니까. 이곳 서울에서. 오늘도 화이팅 해야지.

@Sangria Mediterranean Tapas and Bar, Uptown Dallas

I went to Sangria Tapas about a week ago with a couple of my friends and instantly fell in love with their Tagliolini! I have been craving this ever since, and asked Jong if he would like to give this place a try. Of course he said yes, and there I was the happiest kid in the whole world! 

I, of course, ordered Tagliolini, and Jong wanted to try "clams and mussels" dish with parsley oil, garlic, shallots, chorizo, fingerling potatoes, cava and parsley. As you can see in the pictures, it looked good and tasted even better! The food was so flavorful we enjoyed every single bite of them. 

@The Dallas Arboretum

In the past 5 years living in Big D, I have come to a conclusion that I have not explored the city as much as I'd hope to. There are several factors that contribute to this outcome, yet one of the most obvious reasons would have something to do with my lazi-butt-ness! Agh!

Thanks to Groupon deals, however, my friend Jacq bought two admission tickets to the Dallas Arboretum for the price of one, and asked me if I wanted to join her. For a second my lazy butt kicked into play but then I remembered that I needed to work on my photography skills, and the Arboretum would be a perfect place to practice taking pictures, lots and lots of them!

At the end, we had so much fun being surrounded by gorgeous flowers and fat squirrels! ♥
