Chapel Hill, NC 2002 This is the last one! For those of you who missed the first post from Jan 1 2015, here it is again (below). If you are still following me thanks for enduring the steady stream of old pictures. Peace and love to everyone in the new year! This year marks about 15 years of still photo work for me. To celebrate I'll be posting a photo a day all year. I realize this has been done before by others and in the age of Instagram posting 1 photo a day isn't that big of a deal. These are all shot on medium and large format film, some are parts of series I've shown but didn't quite make the cut. Some are things are good pictures but just didn't fit with what I was doing at the time. Some are experiments. Enjoy.

In 2006 I drove across the country (back and forth) just to take pictures.  Every day of the trip I took a picture with the same sheet of 4x5 film. So this picture is actually a multiple exposure of the whole country, about 45 exposures. At some point I forgot I was doing it in portrait orientation and turned it sideways. The unevenness of the exposures makes it look more like 5 exposure but I'm kind of surprised this worked at all and the fuji quickload sheet didn't leak after opening and closing it 45 times.
