Throughout March, the UNICEF Tap Project is challenging people to see how long they can go without their smartphones and for every 5 minutes a phone is left untouched, a day of clean water is provided to a child in need!

To participate, go to https://tap.unicefusa.org/ on your phone and press “begin” after the short intro. All you need to do is position your phone on a flat surface and just leave it there. I suggest keeping your phone plugged into a charger and the brightness kept at its lowest because as long as the site is open, your phone will stay on.

So water you waiting for (sorry, not sorry)? Millions of children around the world do not have access to safe water and adequate sanitation. By simply putting your phone down, you will not only get work done, but you’ll also help children and families in need!
